Paid Jake Sharpe $200 to come on a recruiting visit and basically got hammered at the bars for a weekend. This according to a good friend of mine  that went to Salina South High School and knows Jake Sharpe, although he went to Salina Central.

Why would you have to pay a guy who is already in the bag if you know what I mean...   :ku:

We did something similar with Jason Bennett ccording' to my source. Except we didn't pay him $200. Someone gave someone $200 to show Jason a good time.

Who cares a crap? I don't care a crap.

If you are going to cheat there are a lot better players to cheat with.  That guy sux, if they paid him $200, they wasted $200.  A four leaf clover sticker and a frozen hot dog would have sealed the deal.

I think you guys should just try to let it go.  Just relax and ride this sh1t out for a while.  The Jayhawks will suck at something in the future maybe.  Then the giant purple cheek will dry.

The $200 is per diem. Some schools give it to the kid, some give it to his host (who by the way normally buys whatever "needs" they have for taking the kid out, and gives the rest to the kid). Every college does it and it is based on what city you are in. In LA or NY you would receive more for per diem. There is nothing to see here...

Yeah, you get this even on jank recruiting trips to DCCC or GCCC.

ku has always cheated and always will, my Dad was a ku grad and told me that Wilt Chamberlain had a brand new Caddy while in school & yet he was dirt poor from Philly b-4 coming to ku. He also knew Hadl, & told me that guy was one low-life cheating SOB. I thought it was pretty funny considering he was a ku grad.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.
