    The very best.
tranquility park: great tennis/soccer complex, and ice rink.

you're welcome.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Hi.  I am BT.  I live in Omaha, also.  What kind of things are you in to, raquetcat?  I can lead you to where you need to go for a happy life and to get laid.  You went to ksu, so you probably aren't cool enough to hang out with me, but I will still help you.

Live music venues, I know Omaha is known for its music scene. Any cool movie theaters that show smaller indie films, good places to eat. Places with sweet food/drink specials, places to not go after dark. Any annual festivals or big events that are really good?

Steve Dave I'd appreciate your help on these too

Good call.  I was going to mention both of these.  Also check out a place called O'leavers on Saddle Creek.  I'm a regular.  Its kinda like a hipster Double Deuce (of the movie Roadhouse).  $1 beers on Thursday and live shows most nights.  What area you livin' in?  I'm in the Dundee area which is pretty ok.  There really isn't any need to go west of 72nd if you aren't forced to.  Don't go too far north (danger).  Tons of good restaurants all over the place.  I'll try to think of more sh1t later.

Apparently west O is for elite k-staters because I'm living around 132nd. Seems too suburbany out there for me, but my job is farther west so I didn't want a horrible commute. It seems like Dodge traffic is horrible after you get farther east, is it always this way?

Are there any super secret ways to avoid lincoln when traveling to the 'tan to take in a football game. I just assumed lincoln traffic on gameday would be horrible, plus nebraska cops seem like d-bags (not normal cop d-bags, but super d-bag cops)?

“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

I'm there, brother.  Pin a rose on your lapel so I can find you.

(And sorry about the West O comment.  I like it kinda filthy.  Too many white people.  Give me a break please.)

Black out one of your front teeth, buy a flannel shirt  / cut off the sleeves and you should fit right in.

best places to drink - Depends what part of town you are living in.  We go to Upstream Brewery, Parliment Pub, Roja, Two Fine Irishmen.  For good vino we go to a place called Stokes that has three locations in Omaha.  We are in SW Omaha (the good part).
good titty bars - No idea.  Not a dirtbag.
cheap golf courses/driving ranges - Pacific Springs is also out west and is pretty reasonable. Quarry Oaks is nicer and also not to expensive.
a decent bank with mucho ATMs - First National Bank of Omaha is by far the best with many ATMs.
Also what's the best way to deal with d-bag husker fans - Outsmart them.  It's not hard.
Can I even watch the local news without being bombarded with fusker crap every night? - No

Sd does live in Omaha.  I should know as I've seen him.  He is always wearing a frayed visor and seashell necklace.

Anyway,
SD gave you pretty good advice.  When dealing with d-bag husker fans I just bring up basketball, which most of them have never heard of, and if they have start quoting Danny Nee,, and that tends to stun them long enough for me to run away.  But anywhere you go or work or live they will be there... eyeballing you.  Colosseum and Billy Frogs are other bars you might try.  Billy Frogs reminds me the most of an Aggieville bar.  Fox and Hound is a place I like to eat and drink, super good Tuesday specials.  In East O on the way downtown there is a place called Cali Taco where all the creighton people go for cheap fried tacos on special.

About the Katpak'r...  SD is pretty elite.  It's hard to get a spot in his busy schedule.  The best thing you could do is post several pictures of yourself so everyone can scrutinize them and then we'll decide if we like you enough to let you take us to Taco Del Mar.

That's kind of foul posting actual pictures of SD.  Surprised he hasn't removed the pics.   :angryMJ:

Anywho, also forgot Millard roadhouse has super cheap happy hour and buffetness.
