The KC Star had this

The announced attendance was 12,804 — and 450, according to Snyder, were recruits and parents of recruits.

Any idea who?

    The very best.
looked like we invited a bunch of players to simply mend fences w/hs football programs.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

this has consumed the majority of Bill's time since he's been back. Calling old friends and saying "sorry about the horrible a-hole Ron, that's not how we handle things at Kstate."
"You guys want answers that are conversations between John and I. I ain't worried about it. I'm living the dream.... When I start worrying about a contract, I'd be cheating the kids and not doing my job." - Frank Martin

We did have 5 kids from Kapaun MT. carmel on the roster though as well as 5 kids from Butler Co., also FYI 61 out of the 95 kids on our spring roster are juniors and seniors which I hate to say is a vast improvement from last years fall roster.

Those who have been following the St. Francis High team know that Matt has the dimensions and the arm to play in the big 12.  His smarts are suspect, but then again, so were Bish's.  Would be a huge get for our program.

Trent sucks, but they're a package deal, so maybe stick him on the bench?

OB could turn Trent into the next Brice Libel, a punt blocking wonder, it would be worth the get IMO. :dancin:

Those of you who don't know, St. Francis usually has a pretty salty FB team every year.    We usually get creamed by them every time we play them.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

St. Francis is far if you live in KC or Wichita and have everything at your disposal w/ in 15 miles of your house.  Manhattan is not that far when you live in St. Francis and the closest football team to yours that plays 8 or 11 man is 35 miles (one way).  It's not even 5 hours if you drive 79 on the Interstate like most people out there do.  Get up at 5am, milk the cows, leave bout 7, get up to Manhattan bout noon, leave bout 9pm, get back bout 2am, just in time for the cowgirls to start taking off their shirts at the shindig in Billy Bob's barn.  That's how they fly out there!! :kstatriot:

Yes, the age old ku and their nicely rounded attendance numbers.

kuad pissant:  Mr. Perkins how many should we say attended the game . . . it appears to be about 12 or 13,000.

Perkins:  Make it 17,000.

You really aren't serious?  You honestly believe that ku had 17,000 there?
