A guy I knew at KSU when I was there got in a car crash while drunk and killed his best friend who was a passenger.  He ended up marrying the guy's finance not more than a year later.  I never understood how that could work.  Seems pretty f'd up to me.  He didn't even get charged with anything other than a DUI because the police felt so bad for him or something.  He was a POS to boot.

Was she hot?

medium

Seems like a helluva lotta work for medium

1-2.

details pls.

1.  Some dude that a client of mine had a case against was kind of a mess already and filed bankruptcy with some fraudulent info.  I showed up at the Court with a bunch of stuff to show he'd lied and his bankruptcy was going to be thrown out if he didn't get a ton of stuff explained.  Instead, he killed himself.  I've always figured my little thing was the straw that broke the back.

2.  There was an episode in new orleans.  I don't know if the guy died or not.  :dunno:

Over  January intersession I took the class called "Social Construction of Serial Murder".

Pretty interesting class. Now whenever I talk to someone I try and figure out if they're some kinds of psychopathic murderer or not. Weird I know, but take the class and you'll be in the same boat

Sue Williams still teach that class?  Amazing class, came out with very high SKIQ

lol yeah she does. She's a huge b1tch tho. My JWG (John Wayne Gacy) IQ and BTKIQ is ridiculously high after that class

I'm friends with the Detectives that worked the case to it's conclusion. That count towards my SKIQ?

And those detectives gave a ridiculously good presentation on how they caught him. It was like watching some special on the History Chanel for 4 hours.

In a past post about Wichita, I spoke about meeting Gary Busey at the Hotel at Oldtown. The Wichita detectives were there then. Those guys can party like it's 1999.

My uncle's a KCK cop.  Him and his coworkers flat tear it up.  I can remember being a 19 yr old kid thinking how sweet it was partying with a bunch of cops. :beerchug:

it'd be cool if someone with a military background could chime in in this thread.

Probably not gonna happen. What you have to remember is that killing someone, because you have to, effects you on a deeply personal level and usually results in possibly severe emotional problems. Just saying.

My ex's dad worked for the government and, after being forced into retirement, admitted to killing.  For the first two and half years of our relat. I thought her dad worked for the post office.  It was pretty crazy... and somewhat scary.  It was crazy sh*t, like he'd get a call at four in the morning telling him to go to the airport. He would then meet some random person that would give him his ticket, which would also inform him of where he was going.  He was responsible for breaking up a lot of major, international, child pornography rings and said that a lot of times those guys would rather go down with a fight than be arrested.

pretty sure that i've never killed anyone but i used to have to go to holton kansas for work twice a month and became decent friends with a couple of people who worked at the hospital.

i was told by them that a guy in town had married a couple of russian brides he obtained on the internet and that the first two "went missing". anyway i guess the third one "accidently" had some huge metal bar or something dropped on her head out in their barn. i guess her head was absolutely crushed. anyway she was brought to the er (was told that she was obviously not alive) and the guy is like "so, is she gonna be okay?" everybody i talked to thinks he did it but i don't think anything happened to the guy.

Neat.

Is Holton the same town as 'In Cold Blood'?

If so,  :ohno:

No. Holton is north of Topeka.

You're thinking of Holcomb.  Its west of Garden City.

There's also a Horton and a Norton.  Horton is pretty close to Holton.  Norton's in NW KS.

As an interesting (or not) coincidence my great aunt shot and killed a polar bear and had it made into a rug.

It would be weird if my great uncle was a rug, but I see where you're going with this.

When I was around twelve, my cousin, brother and I were hanging out in this park in Clyde, KS.  We were just minding our own business, you know, probably on the swings or some sh1t, when up comes this older kid.  Really ugly.  Hawaiian shirt.  Anyway, he starts messing with us.  Pushing us around.  Calling us pussies.  You think BT likes to be called a pussy?  Think again.  We aren't big enough to fight this guy with hand-to-hand combat, so me and my band of cronies decide we better leave.  We get to the edge of the park, which is about 50 yards from this dick, and he is still talking sh1t.  BT decides to pick up a rock.  I fire that sh1t (rocket fire) at this f*cker and nail him right in the face.  Direct hit, boy.  Dropped him.  We all freaked out and ran.  Never knew for sure, but pretty sure he died.

Very elite, that's like david and goliath sh1t, that story is probably going to be in the next bible

the 2nd guy you killed sounds like an elite story.  kinda feel bad for the 1st guy.  you prolly should have offered him some encouraging words after ruining his life ("hey, bro.  don't").
