and LOL @ Saul for not using a pencil to mash the NES buttons to run faster

As a former Track & Field enthusiast, the pencil trick was the first thing that came to my mind.

Mega Man 2 and Double Dragon 2 were great.
Loved fighting the dragon in Wiley's castle, where the game lagged and you had a little advantage because of that.

Super Play Action Football for the SNES

College season mode was the best, always played as ksu and you could pick your own schedule, i'd always play the top teams to get ranked fast, like Miami, Notre Dame, Nebraska, etc.

I like how they had certain colleges they couldn't use their names for whatever reason so they made up a name for them. Found the list of colleges online:

Some good ones listed here already, but this one was a lot of fun.  Used to make our own teams and play with a bunch of friends.  Good times.

see, the thing is when you young bucks start mucking up my thread with NES crap, well, it kind of loses its original intent.  the name of the thread is old video games, not video games that aren't that old really.   :blank:

Come on, they are old.

Atari, gmafb.  Ok.  Pitfall for atari was awesome. Discuss.  You jump over gators and pits.

Well, discussion over.

I used to have an atari. Is that old enough? The original with pong. At least I think it was an atari. It didn't have any game catridges. Just the flip levers on the top to change from tank to tennis, hockey, pong.
