By any chance, does this have to do with a certain basketball player who comes from the Land of Lincoln?

Got some info that a certain ku players was on an airplane "returning" to KC, and would've had to have missed multiple days of classes based on the trip they likely took . . . but then again do any college athletes of the "star" variety even take traditional classes, and if so, do they ever show up . . . particularly at ku, where a guy can pull the old "First class . . . last class/final exam" appearence method, and somehow is an academic all american.

Yes, this player is from the land of lincoln.

So where'd he go on vacation?

Is it really that ridiculous for an athlete at ANY college to travel during the school week...?
I mean..they do it the entire season after all..

Didn't say it was ridiculous . . . albeit at most schools athletic departments have to submit class absence for athletic event guidelines to faculty senates/committees to get approval, and also keep academic departments informed of schedules etc. etc.   Most of the time approved absences don't include . . . "Sherron decided to spend an extra long weekend in Chicago after the season was over".    But hey, we are talking about ku here after all, and their may have well been some legitimate circumstances involved.   I am sure ku's tutoring system was all over it.

Funny how all "star" basketball players seem to have "online classes".

I suspect the online class taking Sherron Collins looks something like this:

This thread is anything you want it to be . . . free  your mind.

It's a shame ku is in fly over country and its class skipping players have to drive 108 miles round trip to a real airport.

You guys see this?

Air Force One, Air Force Two and other Senior Government Administrative jets fly over my office all the time, and they don't scare me . . . and I don't live in flyover country like Lawrence, KANSAS either.
