That's some pretty interesting talk from a fan of a school that's 34-70 (.326) all time in the Big 12.
So can we go ahead and write off K-State men's basketball since your program sucked from the inception of the Big 12 to '06?

Two entirely different things Bentard (Now Bentard, moving away from Captain Meltdown). For starters I, and I don't think anyone here has ever proclaimed that K-State was some sort of formidable basketball power . . . nor have I or anyone here seriously proclaimed that by virtue of one good season for K-State basketball, another team sucks.
1. K-State football has been below average to average since '04. Next year may be the worst of them all.
2. K-State men's basketball is preseason top 25 and has been building itself into a solid program. It's somewhat apples to oranges, but the point is that just because K-State men's basketball struggled in the past doesn't mean you're not going to be good now and in the future.
ku will be preseason top 25 in football next season and has gradually been improving as a program. The '09 recruiting class is the best Mangino has had. The comparison to K-State basketball is just an analogy, so that the blinded can possibly see the light at some point.
