You guys are retarded

This is a fine pick, nothing to be upset about.

Linebackers can do nothing w/o a d-line anyway

Your LFBIQ is showing

There were at least 2 better D Lineman on the board, though. . .

Then they must have thought he was a better 3-4 fit than the other guys (you could only argue 2 DE's were rated ahead of him (by Mel))

And Raji didn't make sense to waste top 5 pick on a DT 2 yrs in a row

Terrible pick considering Crabtree & Orakpo were on the board. Besides hemmy yo boi jackson played in a 4-3 system he will be as useful as Glenn Dorseys sorry ass this year but atleast with time dorsey will be good.

Jackson can step in and be a starting 5-technique defensive end from day one. He has the size and upper-body strength to stack and shed offensive tackles, making him a perfect fit for the 3-4 scheme. Although he's never going to be a great pass-rusher and it's highly unusual for this type of player to go so high, he can keep blockers off the outside linebackers, which should give K.C.'s pass rush a boost.

draftdaddy.com ?

Give me a f*cking break

Rated 3rd best DE in the draft, most agreed a better 3-4 fit than 'rakpo and much better 3-4 fit than Maybin

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
LeRoy Hill of the Seahawks is expected to have the franchise tag removed which would make him the best free agent available... considering we passed on curry I think we need to make a push for this guy, he would bolster our linebacking core nicely.

I'm not bitching about us drafting him.  He's a good fit for us.

I'm bitching about the fact that we probably could have picked this kid up in the second round, and got him for less money.  The smart move in this situation would have been to trade down, even if we got a little screwed, because that way we get an extra player/pick PLUS save money on this guy.

He was the 12th ranked prospect on the "big board".  2nd round, gmafb

There were some projections yesterday that had him going to cleveland at 5 if the chiefs didn't pick him... The kid probably is more important to a 3-4 scheme than anyone of us know...

Never fails, the wtf picks always turn out the best.  Couldn't be happier with the draft so far.  Most of the tards in this thread fail to realize that the chiefs were reportedly trying to trade down but no one would give them a decent deal.  Hence they picked who they wanted, Pioli doesn't make crapty deals.

    I may be full of sh*t, but i won't be de-turd.
Take a chill pill. I'm pretty sure you haven't spent the last 3 months researching and watching game films. For now I'll trust a little. The draft is such a crap shoot anyway....who knows what'll happen.
