As in flu.  Who's staying home until this thing blows over?  Are you gonna wear a surgical mask to the bar?    :runaway:

FYI this is from the 1918 flu pandemic article in Wikipedia:

It probably originated in the Far East.[9] The disease was first observed at Fort Riley, Kansas, United States, on March 4, 1918,[10] and Queens, New York, on March 11, 1918.

    The very best.
nbaf/parking garage will solve this.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We can all thank Texas.  If they hadn't sued to stop the bio-lab, we'd have solved this sh*t by now.

just don't go to mexico right now. All I'm saying.

It probably isn't deadly if you have access to an emergency room and a good doctor...otherwise this thing is probably going to kill more people in impoverished areas.

This is serious.

Not to freak everyone out...but I guess I will....but you can walk around without any symptoms for two days with most flu infections and be completely contagious, which is why this is probably spreading like it is.

Hope this gets under control soon, or my summer plans to travel to Europe might be diverted.

Oh so hey I was down in Big Bend during Spring Break 2009 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO which of course is like right by the Mexico border. So therefore I must be a carrier and I'm going to transmit swine flu to all of you over the internet. And BMW thinks he can stick it to KSU fans? Pssssh

and that's the problem. Guess a couple from Abilene went to Mexico City for vacation and brought home the swine flu.

If you get on quick onset of flu symptoms go to the doctor right away. The flu season should be ending right now so it should be unusual to get the flu. Kansas had a relatively dormant flu season this year. Last year was worse.

I'm going to Italy this summer. Hope this outbreak doesn't mean I'm sitting in customs for two hours getting blood taken, temperature, physical...etc...what a nightmare.

He didn't know.... They didn't even know that Dickinson County had anything like that.  Two of the sherriffs were out sick, so there was some speculation that they were dying and spreading it to all illegal mexicans and inmates in Abilene.
