All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
According to Michael Smith of ESPN just a few minutes ago the Chiefs are set to send Tony Gonzalez to the Falcons for their second round pick. Not finalized yet.

Sounds like it was a 2nd round pick for the 2010 draft... Crappy deal IMO...

Finalized by the way TG on his way to ATL.

hahahaha

Gone-zalez realized that even with the changes the KC bleeps have made, they'll never be a winner.
"Unless you're a ku fan you don't want to watch a game at the fieldhouse. You'll never see more home cooking in your life. The last game I watched there Larry got the boot and I didn't blame him a bit. Only ball game I've ever walked out on in my life, besides, the facility is a piece of ****."

can't argue with RD on this one folks.  gonzalez needs to take his dumbass and his dumbass shadow buddies back down to tijuana man!   :batman:

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I am curious to see if the chiefs will use that newly acquired 2nd rounder as bait for someone this year in a possible trade...

i wouldn't mind them using the 2nd rounder + sam cassell for peyton manning, dont know if the colts would pull the trigger though.

Just curious because I've heard so many Chiefs fans complaining, but what did you expect KC to get for Gonzalez?

I would have gladly taken pick #55 for him. Maybe we'll deal pick #3, move back in the First Round and get a 2nd round pick that way. Either way we might as well have traded him. We have nowhere to go but up and I trust GMSP.

I'm all for a 2nd round pick... I just think they should have pushed harder to make it this year...

So with this trade where does KC now sit on the Cap? They have to have quite a bit of money to spend still...

That's fair. I wouldn't be surprised if Pioli trades this pick to get a pick in this weekend's draft. Also, it's possible that he likes the talent in the 2010 draft more than the 2009 talent.  :dunno:

The Chiefs probably aren't going to be good until 2011. That would mean that Gonzalez would only have one season where he could contribute to a decent team. Anything he gives us in 2009 and 2010 will be wasted on a horrible team.
