It was reported by someone that Josh was invited to attend the draft in person.  However, this morning on 610am in KC, Rodger Twibell was mentioning that Josh would be "waiting anxiously by his phone."  Wasn't sure if Roger had the updated scoop, or was just clueless.

Anyway, it seems to me that Josh would choose to avoid the green room, so as not to make a &@#%ing laughing stock out of himself.  :dunno:

Fox Sports guy jumping in now,

39. Jacksonville — Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State, Junior: As Freeman has reportedly accepted his invitation to sit in the green room on Draft Day, this would certainly be some spectacle. In all the years that the NFL has invited a select group of prospects to the event, none has ever slipped to No. 39 overall. Jacksonville doesn't need a starting quarterback, per se, but at this spot might grab Freeman.

I, for one, do want not Ron Prince in any way associated with K-State.  I can see him wandering around doing bunny ears to people being interviewed.  How embarrasing.

Just stay home Josh.  If you go in round 1 great.  If in 2.... well don't let that happen.

Are you kidding me? That would be comedic gold! Plus it would allow others to understand why we hated and loved CaptainRon at the same time.

My buddy is going with him to the draft. They left today. Should be sweet seeing my former roommate on TV.

They've been good friends for a while. Freeman is actually a nice kid, used to hang out a little with the guy.

He's making a horrible decision, but it's cool that he's good to hang with.

According to J-Mart:

Ah, the perks of being a professional. It all becomes official today at New York's Radio City Music Hall, when Freeman will join eight of his invited peers in the Green Room and await his fate at the NFL Draft. His family will be there, as will former K-State coach Ron Prince, as Freeman's vision becomes reality.

Seriously, how can you not laugh at this potential hilarity of this situation.

Ron Prince and his asinine proclamation that Josh would be the #1 pick in the draft last summer at Catbacker events.  Josh and all of his Big XII honorable mention glory jumping to the draft as a true junior because he thinks he's first round material.

So many great self inflated idiot story lines here just waiting to be played out this afternoon......

    IT'S DIVISION ONE FOOTBALL!!!
Not to mention Prince/Freeman truly believed that Josh was a better QB than Bradford and McCoy.  It speaks volumes of the ego level involved when the two best QB's in the conference opt to stay for their senior years.  Prince & Freeman: A match made in used car dealership heaven.

I whole-heartily believe in Ron's proclamation that Josh is a high draft pick.  Primarily due to the fact he threatened to throw me off a balcony.

I don't have a strong emawtional (i think i just made that word, i want recognition when it catches on) attachment to Josh.  That being said, I will hope this doesn't turn into the disaster that it is looking like it might.

Gold.

May I suggest a usage of your new word? How about "You're being to emawtional."  Kinda like being a 'Tard, but different in that you aren't being a complete idiot, it's just that your k-statriotism is clouding your judgment.

Haven't seen any freeman yet, when will they start showing his sad face?
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

Ya, ESPN is being pathetic, just show him.
