Credit where credit is due, the 'tards had it pegged.

all this program has ever needed to compete is some coachable diamonds in the rough and players that "want to be here".

If they ranked players according to who would "buy in" the most we would have a great recruiting class.  its seems like all of our players are excellent at "buying in" to Snyder's philosophy.

K-State leads the nation in intrinsic values.   In fact the NCAA is adding an Intrinsic Value "Meter" on the scoreboard, and if the game ends in a tie, OT could be avoided if your teams "intrinsic value" meter is 25% higher than the the other team.   Adding a TD to the team with the most pregame "intrinsic values" was tabled until July.

    The very best.
goes to show why it's easier to rebuild a football program. while there is a ridic. strong correlation there, plenty of exceptions do exist.

unless you're a retard like bill self, you can't make mistakes in bball recruiting.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    Gettin' angried up!!!
How many first rounders did we have during DoD?  Canty, Newman,???  Wonder what it would be like to land one of the top 15 or so high school dudes in the country.  Or 4 or 5 like USC does every year.

Facts:
Approximately 300 kids come into the Big 12 each year.  Since all of the All conference players were second through fifth years, let's say that is a pool of around 900 eligible for All Conference.  Approximately 513 were two stars or less [rivals].  270 were 3 stars.  162 were 4 stars and 18 were 5 stars.
All Conference 2 stars.....4  [.008%]
All Conference 3 stars.....20 [7.4%]
All Conference 4 stars.....18   [11.1%]
All Conference 5 Stars.....4 [22.2%]

Stars seem to matter

Those are just numbers.  You can't put a percentage on "heart".

the player's ranking does not factor in who is going to coach them.
