Either a "Boom" or a "Bust" according to Mel Kiper. Some GM's think "Boom" while others think "Bust". I know I've had him all over the place in my Mock Drafts. Right now I don't have him in the First Round at all (even though I'm sure he'll go in the First Round).

As I said in a previous thread.....There are certain players who better suited for the college game than the pro game (in both football and basketball) and there are certain players who are better suited for the pro game than they are for the college game. Josh fits into the latter category.

bad decision making is bad decision making....it will only be more magnified in the nfl. He is not going to get any smarter than he already is. he should seriously consider tight end to make check but it's prabably too late. ryan leaf with a better attitude.

the freeman hate is pretty lame.  without him, we would have won less games.  connecting freeman with prince-hate is a stretch.

i am speaking the truth...who are you calling lame? you suppose if freeman was put in the usc system he would have been an elite qb? not a snowballs chance in hell. to me he looks like michael jackson in 1980 except twice the size. maybe entertainment is his calling?

Don't care, tubby.  Was talking to EMAW'ers.  As for your USC thing, you can say the same for Sparkles.

OT - since you are obviously some kind of subject matter expert, why not give us your take on Sparkles? Will he go to the league? Since you are basing Freemaws shot at the league by his height and apparent "lack of decision making" I am guessing that Twinkle toes should be what... a kicker? He is... well... tiny and his decision-making cant really be judged because the talent level he has faced has been less-than-stellar. No? Break that little fella down for us.

YOU have the floor.

oh c'mon.  Reesing has zero chance of even being a non-roster invitee.  ku puts less players in the NFL than NWMSU.

Of course the little gnat fart isn't going to do crap in the nfl - but I was hoping for a Doug Flutie pipe dream or something - something that can/will come back to haunt in the near future.

Sparkles = Hypel/Hybl/White (only not as good at floating the ball to good recievers and much MUCH smaller)

Odd, because every professional draft analyst/sports writer has him going in the first round.  But I'm sure your vast wealth, ownership of a crapty extended cab Nissan, and experience as an assistant manager of a steakhouse gives you more insight into the talent analysis of QBs than any of them.

I believe Freeman's NFL success will have a lot to do with what situation he gets drafted into. If he's in a situation where he is competing for the starting job i think it will hurt him. He is way better off sitting and learning for a couple years. Two Cents

Freeman playing for a legit coach would have been interesting. The threat of benching if you turn it over like 6 times against ku might have made him a little less carefree.

No Snyder KSU QB was NOT benched at some time, this guy would have been well served to have had someone hold him accountable.

When we look back on Freeman, he won 2 big games and lost 9 big games as a starter.

Remember how much interest we all had in the so called QB competition Prince and Franklin were yapping about in April of '06? AE, Webb, Meyer, Lopina, Freeman

if you are sure freeman won't slip past #22, why do you have him going in the 2nd round in your mock draft. maybe i am not understanding the purpose of a mock draft. help me out here bro.

It's just a MOCK, bro.  He can't begin to read the minds of the NFL 'lite.  It's just his opinion after his "0506 sitdown interviews" and from the results of the combine day that he had in his backyard.

I noted this in another thread, but it deserves repeating...

If Ron shows up with Freeman, I hope Freeman slips to the second day.

seriously. why do you have him in the 2nd round of your mock draft if you are sure he is going in the first. is it your intent to be tricky? thanks and i'll hang up and listen off the air.

He's like the Howard Hughes of uk fans.  Rich as all get out, but completely insane as well.  Pretty sure he will build a Spruce Crew Cab or something along those lines one of these days.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
