    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

it's like when people made fun of us for prince, but we were all prince supporters (kinda) and didn't want to admit that the guy was a dumb@ss and wouldn't turn us into what we wanted.

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

No more so embarrassing than the current and near-future state of KSU football.

Coaches spring game attire smack (as if all you Kansas bumpkins don't wear the same sort of outfits)?  Is that all you guys have on us these days?

You never refer to your football team and staff as "us" and "we," especially in relation to opponents?

Wasn't aware that KSU was so "above it all" in regards to their football team.  Also wasn't aware that using the word "us" related in any way to self esteem.  More about allegiance and saving time while communicating.

Real time saver is not stalking KSU boards.

Does watching and enjoying a trainwreck equate to seeking validation?

I need nothing from anything related to KSU football other than the simple, visceral entertainment value of watching a conference foe massively struggle and continually fail.  Now, that might not always be the case, but it sure as s h i t is right now.

Surely the braintrust on this board (meaning you, mostly, as it's your mantra when anyone from a better program comes on to KSUfan.com) can figure this out without resorting to the wishful thinking, pie-in-the-sky "validation" card.

It's like a guy walking by a ditch and seeing a former, hated classmate face down and covered in dogcrap and filth, and snickering at it, and then the wretch looks up and mutters, "Jealous?"

Um, no...

Except as you walk by you are all covered in bird crap, your clothes are all ripped and muddy, you have a bad limp and everyone else is driving new Chevys past you.

Well done.

I don't think Nebraska is that shredded and shat upon these days, but some of our threadbare jackets stowed away in the closet do have the odor of birdcrap.
