OSU is going to get itself a nice player.

OSU already has 27 kids committed, including the #45 and #14 ranked DTs.  Maybe that will help us?  :dunno:

    Hey, basketball!!!
4* OT John Cullen is visiting this weekend (#3 JUCO in the Nation). Lock him up Snyd's!

Quote
"I'm about to take my last two trips and then make my decision pretty soon," Cullen explained. For the next two weeks, Kansas State and Utah will be hosting Cullen on campus in the hopes of winning over the four star prospect. He will be visiting Manhattan on January 15 and will be in Salt Lake City for his final official visit on January 22.

Even if he is blown away during his upcoming visits, fans shouldn't expect to see Cullen commit in the next two weeks. "I'm going to wait until signing day to decide. We'll have a little thing at my house with the media," he said.

And no, in no way is he related to Edward Cullen. :blindfold:

Educated guesses say that we have three to four scholarships remaining. It looks like we are going after four more recruits for this class (Cullen, Rivera, Jones, & Attaochu), so hopefully we can get them all to commit. :hope:

Synder breaks a pool stick over his knee and announces tryouts for the last remaining schollies after the tour of campus and facilities, etc., etc. :boxing: :sword: :sport028:

I was talking to a scout for a major league baseball team over the weekend he told a story about how he was at a DII where the coach had one ship left for a catcher.  One recruiting weekend he had two young men in town who they were very interested in.  The coach took both young men out to home plate.  The coach took out a baseball and proclaimed that the first kid to come back with the ball had the ship.  Said coach hit the ball with a fungo, one player cold cocks the other walks out to the outfield picks up the ball tosses to the coach and says "looks like i'm your guy"

not my story just sayin :pirate_grrr:

If that was football and the coach walked off with the player; OBz would walk up to the other kid, help him up, tell him a story about falling off a horse and getting back up on it again and offer him a scholly. However, I loved that story my man!

Could you imagine if Prince did this in a battle between Kirk & Freeze for a scholie. Both of them would try to push each other over but they would be to weak to cause any harm then they would both just fall down and tear their ACL's or something...

Yeah, cause Snyder's obviously some pathetic, feeble old man that just signs other people's castoffs.  Do you even know WTF the DoD was all about?   Who was the head mother&@#%er in charge during that incredible run?  But I guess you really believe all those unbelievably talented assistant coaches he helped form were just a whole bunch of coincidences and the real reason for the DoD?  Your post gets my vote for the worst of the young year.

Your schtick is getting old and stale - obviously you are the most literal person alive and cannot see sarcasm - so run along and go frack yourself. FWIW, those assistants have all gone on and done incredible things and this program has progressively gone into the crapper. the 2003 B12CH was the culmination and the last showing of what we once were; since then, we have been nothing more than a shell of what we used to be. If you want me to pump sunshine, that wont happen; dude, I am realistic and you are a dreamer who belongs at GPC.com - now, go away and lick your wounds with the rest of the 'tards and keep telling each other that with OBz at the helm, the sun will come out tomorrow.

Looks like a solid visitors list for 1/15. I wouldn't complain about landing any of those guys. Could be a solid finish to the recruiting season (could be a bad finish too I suppose).

Seems like we picked up a few good looking players right at the end of the recruiting season last year too. Any idea if any of the current commits are qualifying risks/sign and place kids?
