My favorite part about recruiting small town Kansas players, are posts from guys that played against him saying he isn't that good.  It's like a 100% guarantee that this will happen.

Umm.  How many 6'6" 300 lb high school kids are used to playing against people their own size?  Yeh, they'll see a handful of kids their own size per season, but it's not like there's a league somewhere full of lineman that size or anything.

i understand where you're coming from. somewhat. i was 5'6" and 140 in high school and beat nick stringer when i lined up at d-end for our rare 5-2 defense. the next time i lined up against him he pushed me out of the endzone on my back. but i guess that's what you're supposed to do when you are a foot taller and 100 pounds bigger

Has anyone said this kid is going to be the topped ranked player in the state?  Would be amazing news if so. 

Went out and watched the kid play a couple of times, one on assignment, the other on my own. He's legit. Have talked to high school coaches in the state who feel he's definitely one of the top 5 players in Kansas for next year. I'd say he's up there and that's a solid pickup for K-State.

Also, Currie Sexton is a pretty good talent for them. Probably not worthy of a scholarship at this point as he is a senior. But he'd be great for a preferred walk on. Has some DI offers.

USC is no longer recruiting DL DJ McCellion (6-0 275) of Delray Beach, FL his coach said Wednesday. Andre Thadies said he talked with Gamecock recruiter Jeep Hunter a couple of weeks ago and was told the Gamecocks were moving in a different direction. McCellion is down to Virginia, Kansas State and Buffalo according to his coach.
