Considering his offer list, I guarantee more than half this board would melt down if we signed that kid.  A 6'5", 260 lb 2* with this offer list: Air Force, Colorado State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, North Texas, Toledo, Western Wyoming.  Did you expect us to roll out the red carpet?  Sounds like we offered him a token visit, hoping to get an "in" with his stud buddy and the dude stiffed us.  Would you rather Dickey kiss that little bitch's ass?

i'd rather a recruiter for ksu acted like a professional instead of a child.  if this was a prince assistant, all the tards would be in an uproar.  but it's a snyds assistant so that makes it okay and it's all the kids' fault.

But it wasn't one of prince's staff, which leads me to take the side of Snyder's staff.  How many times in the past do you recall hearing stories about Snyder's staff (or Utah's, if it was in fact Dickey) acting in a childish and unprofessional matter?  Snyder gets the benefit of the doubt because he has shown, for the last 20 damn years, to be a guy of high moral character.  Prince, on the other hand, strung kids along until signing day only to rescind a schollie offer at the very last minute.  Yet you think it's odd that Snyder has more good will stored up with the fans.

Quote from:  one of Snyd's assistants
He said: "You sent me an e-mail telling me you were coming. I expected to see you there." I said, "I didn't send you an e-mail." Then he goes: "Yeah, it's all right. I just think actions speak louder than words."

How is that even a childish statement?  You know what I think is childish?  Telling someone you'll be somewhere, them preparing for your arrival, and you standing them up.  But, there's no way an eighteen year old kid has ever lied to cover up his failure to live up to his responsibilities.  That is totally unheard of.

Please delete your entire post.

BTW, we've moved into the top 50 team rankings, per Rivals.  LOL at uk, in the middle of thier "golden era" only being ranked #34.  Losers.  Pathetic losers.

I really don't see why Cam would want to go to Tenn in the first place.  Why would he want to get his teeth kicked in by his former team both years at Tenn?

Again, you are assuming that the kid did e-mail them.  I am more apt to believe an 18 year old kid when it comes to IT issues than our old mannish coaching staff.

Just seems like the program would probably keep pretty meticulous records concerning players coming in for visits.  Seems like you would want to know exactly who will be on campus and when.

And I bet our recruiting coordinators do know, but this was probably one of our older coaches who just ran into him, had an alzheimer flashback, and just plain old &@#%ed up.

Dear Sir,

Good day and compliments. This letter will definitely come to you as a huge surprise, but I implore you to take the time to go through it carefully as the decision you make will go off a long way to determine the future and continued existence of the entire members of my family.

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. (Mrs.) Mariam Abacha, the wife of the late head of state and commander in chief of the armed forces of the federal republic of Nigeria who died on the 8th of June 1998.

My ordeal started immediately after my husband's death on the morning of 8th June 1998, and the subsequent take over of government by the last administration. The present democratic government is determined to portray all the good work of my late husband in a bad light and have gone as far as confiscating all my late husband's assets, properties, freezing our accounts both within and outside Nigeria. As I am writing this letter to you, my son Mohammed Abacha is undergoing questioning with the government. All these measures taken by past/present government is just to gain international recognition.

I and the entire members of my family have been held incommunicado since the death of my husband, hence I seek your indulgence to assist us in securing these funds. We are not allowed to see or discuss with anybody. Few occasions I have tired traveling abroad through alternative means all failed.

It is in view of this I have mandated DR GALADIMA HASSAN, who has been assisting the family to run around on so many issues to act on behalf of the family concerning the substance of this letter. He has the full power of attorney to execute this transaction with you.

My late husband had/has Eighty Million USD ($80,000,000.00) specially preserved and well packed in trunk boxes of which only my husband and I knew about. It is packed in such a way to forestall just anybody having access to it. It is this sum that I seek your assistance to get out of Nigeria as soon as possible before the present civilian government finds out about it and confiscate it just like they have done to all our assets.

I implore you to please give consideration to my predicament and help a widow in need.

May Allah show you mercy as you do so?

Your faithfully,

Dr (Mrs.) Mariam Abacha (M.O.N)

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

goodbye dominique jones and tre walker

Do you think we were bringing in Tre to play DT?

no.  but dominique jones is probably now going to go to missouri and he's going to tell tre walker to go to missouri with him.

why so sure?

He didn't want Snyder as the coach, so now he:  Assumes the worst about everything KState football related.  Secretly hopes for the worst for the program, so that he can say "I told you so" about the Snyder hire.  Is somehow sure that the DoD had absolutely nothing to do with Snyder and that Snyder will fail because he no longer has the litany of quality assistant coaches that were actually responsible for the DoD.  Thinks that Snyder and every one of his assistants is inept, senile, or some combination of the two.  Believes that no decent high school football player will sign with KState because we signed some juco players that play the same position.  etc, etc.   :blahblah:  He and his type make up roughly half of the posters on this board.  Another 25 percent still think that Snyder can make it work again, and the other 25 percent are non-rival fans who are only posting 1000's of times on this board apiece to remind us that we are irrelevant.

First off, who I wanted as coach or didn't want as coach is irrelevant.  It's actually simple math - you know, figuring out how many open schollies we have available for next year and weighing that against the current commitments and 2009 greyshirts that we have and then factoring in what needs we have remaining for the 2010 class (most notably QB, WR, OL and LB).  Am I not entitled to my opinion that in the choice between a JC DT and a HS DT that are comparable in rank, I would rather have the HS DT?  Are you serious when you say that picking up 3 JC players at the same position as a HS kid isn't going to affect his decision?  I hope we can still get Dominique, but Missouri is probably the heavy favorite right now.

Jenks senior Bob Graham plays on an offensive line with one of the best tackles in the state, but colleges haven't overlooked Graham.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pound lineman has narrowed his offers down to four schools: Louisville, Kansas, Iowa State and Colorado State.

Graham plans to go to Kansas City this weekend for Iowa State's game against Kansas State at Arrowhead Stadium and intends to make an official visit to Iowa State this month. He also plans to be at Kansas for next week's game against the Cyclones...

...The Tulsa World's Matt Baker caught up with Graham this week to talk about his weirdest recruiting story and what he's looking for at the next level:

Kansas State, I guess somehow, their coach thought I was coming up for their spring game. He said I e-mailed him, which I didn't. He came down here to look at another guy, Tyler Ott. He comes up to me and says, "Why weren't you at our spring game?"

I'm like, "What are you talking about?" He said: "You sent me an e-mail telling me you were coming. I expected to see you there." I said, "I didn't send you an e-mail." Then he goes: "Yeah, it's all right. I just think actions speak louder than words."

I'm just like: "I'm sorry. I didn't send you an e-mail, but all right. I guess that's cool."

And then their offer came
two days later in the mail. ... It's on my table, just sitting there. ...
