KSUfans.com will become the #1 Kstate sports BBS!
I  think you are pretty close to on the money uk game and Mizzou games are going to be closer then we want them to be, BUT Snyder does game plan very well against these teams and I believe he is on a mission against the Jayhawks I also feel the main reason he came back was being tired of losing to them, My final thought on your predictions possibly 8-4 as I think we can beat colorado!

I thought they had both?  :blindfold:

I think that most of the Big XII games can go either way. I think we definitely lose to Nub, OU, and TT, and probably @ UCLA. I think 6 wins is pretty realistic (and sad).

we don't have the defense to win on the road that early in the season. UCLA will " Louisville " us.

A winnable looking game....until it's actually played and you're left there sitting at the bar wondering how we would ever lose to a shizz team like Louisville that badly.

Massachusetts - W  (K-State struggles early, but eventually wears down UMass, 38-14)

@ Louisiana  - W     (Close game, but Louisiana doesn't have enough firepower to win, 28-20)

@ UCLA  - L   (Close game, but UCLA finds a way to win, 31-21)

Tennessee Tech  - W  (K-State bounces back with a lopsided win at home, 52-17)

@ (KC) Iowa State  - W  (Iowa State is better than expected, but Old Balls finds a way to win, 34-31)

@ Texas Tech  - L  (Texas Tech isn't as potent on offense, but their defense is better than in years past, 35-17)

Texas A&M   - W  (Mike Sherman doesn't last long in College Station... K-State gets big home win, 28-24)

Colorado     - W  (Hawkins doesn't have much longer in Boulder... K-State wins an ugly game, 20-17)

@ Oklahoma  - L  (OU will be nearly impossible to beat in Norman, 52-14)

Kansas  - L  (Best ku team Mangino has had since he's been in Lawrence; Reesing, Briscoe, Meier, Stuckey, plus improved depth and talent, 38-20)

Missouri  - L  (Mizzou is still solid even after losing guys like Daniel and Maclin, 34-24)

@ Nebraska   - L  (Lincoln is a tough place to win and Pelini is improving that program, 41-21)

Overall record:  6-6  -- Independence Bowl

    The very best.
wow. our schedule has alot of games that are begging to be won.

ku has a brutal conference schedule. mangino should go 3-5/4-4 or so (like usual) and celebrate another bowl bid.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

We are worse than 04 and 05 talentwise.  But we do have one more game than those years.

I'll say 5 wins.  6 optimistically.

This is the best ku football we've had since Mangino has been here.  I'm tellin' you, as a friend.  Just trust me on this one.  ku will be favored against K-State, Iowa State, Colorado, Nebraska, and probably Mizzou.  If they can win those games (Nebraska is at home) and find a way to win one out of Tech, Texas, and OU, 6-2 is a realistic possibility.  Colorado doesn't have a QB.... there's no way ku loses to them.  K-State doesn't have enough talent... there's no way ku loses to you guys.  Sorry, just isn't going to happen.  4-4 at worst. 7-1 at best.  Would be happy with 5-3/6-2.

Sat, Sep 05     Massachusetts     W     blowout win, 52-9

Sat, Sep 12     @ Louisiana         W     closer game then it should be, Cats win on the road 35-24

Sat, Sep 19     @ UCLA                L    UCLA isn't great, and Snyder is a better coach then Neweasel, but the bad guys win this round 38-28

Sat, Sep 26     Tennessee Tech     W     cats bounce back at home with a win 55-13

Sat, Oct 03    @ (KC) Iowa State  W  battle of the 1st yr big 12 coaches, KSU dominates in the stands and on the field in KC 42-24

Sat, Oct 10     @ Texas Tech         L Leaches offense too much, Cats lose 45-31

Sat, Oct 17     Texas A&M             W   Close game, but the Cats win 35-27

Sat, Oct 24     Colorado                 W CU holds KSU offense in check in a low scoring game, but CUs offense can't handle Konnings Defense, Cats win 24-17

Sat, Oct 31     @ Oklahoma           L   OU has a 4 or 5 touchdown lead, puts in their backups, and KSU makes it look closer then it really was, OU wins big 56-34,

Sat, Nov 07     Kansas                   W I dont see Snyder losing to ku in Manhattan. KSU wins 38-31. Snyder starts a new streak against the academic frauds. Mangino says "BCS" is the reason his team lost in his post press conf.

Sat, Nov 14     Missouri                  L Pinkel gets his first victory over Snyder in a nailbiter 41-38. Pinkel knows he better enjoy this victory, could be his last over KState

Sat, Nov 21     @ Nebraska            W  @ Nebraska, despite being a big underdog, KSU upsets big red 34-22. Pelini tries to chase down Snyder for "running up the score"

8-4, a better record then KSU really is, but coaching and a "down" north is the difference. I could see 7-5 with a loss to A&M if KSU isn't careful. KSU goes to a minor bowl

You have to be a full-blown Powertard to think K-State will beat ku next year.  ku won by 31 points last season, and that's probably closer than what the game really was.  Plus, you guys lose Freeman, Campbell, Murphy, etc.

ku almost lost to isu last year. that was the lone road win for the hawks.

the talent isn't there on defense for ku. you can make an arguement ksu has more starting talent.

Massachusetts - W Meier comes in on the first play and throws a long bomb, restarting the snyder era showing how he's changed in retirement, only to be intercepted. Cats still win by one because Umass's coach is retarted and kick the extra point to send it into O.T. Snyder is back and kicking the crap out of the usual cupcakes. We win this big. Powertards declare the mob is back.

@ Louisiana  - W     ugly, ugly, UGLY, game. Carson throws 4 INTs and gets benched at half time. Cats are losing 28-3 at this point (all TD's off carson's ints) Daniel Thomas comes in at QB and leads a 28 point comeback to win 31-28.

@ UCLA  - L   Carson starts this game. Daniel comes in durring the 4th quarter but it's to little to late. UCLA. By a lot.

Tennessee Tech  - W  Another easy win. This time with Daniel Thomas at starting quarterback. The KSUFans faithful cry with joy.

@ (KC) Iowa State  - W   Iowa state sucks + Daniel Thomas option to the newly unsuspended Leon Patton. Cats win by 20+

@ Texas Tech  - L  No chance in hell we win this game. They're to good.

Texas A&M   - W Cats don't play well but find a way to get it done. 28-24

Colorado     - W. This is a huge win, atleast by 3 touch downs. this game gives hope that we might upset OU the next week.

@ Oklahoma  - L  Sooners. Big. BIG. Embarassing loss. Synder breaks out the scotch at half time. Switches to everclear by the start of the fourth quarter.

Kansas  - L  Snyder is still in an alcohol induced coma. Vic loses in his first game as head coach.

Missouri  - W Snyder wakes up. Pissed. Hard practices and an amazing game plan, plus great execution inspired by the fear of the rath of Snyder and the cats pull off the upset.

@ Nebraska   - W. Pelini shows up to the game inspired to shut down Snyder. Snyder coaches circles around Pelini and Cats win by two late touchdowns beating the much, MUCH more talented huskers. Pelini screams and cries because Snyder "ran up the score" Thomas and Patton start getting compared to Roberson and Sproles by the powertards.

8-4. Shocking. I put to many wins in there. Realisicly more like 6-6, you can baisicly sub out any of the 2 conference wins to get the 6-6, 3 if you want to put in ku which I do think will be beatable.
If we're at 6-6: Independece or Texas (if afilliated) Bowl
If at 8-4 (and Daniel Thomas is the savior): Alamo Bowl.
