Sooo i have an AP Prep english essay that i have to get done and emailed to my teacher by midnight i have one sentance and i'm procrastinating like none other FML

Your paper:  So, the Jodes were farmers in OK and they got kicked the F off their leased ground.  They decided to travel to CA because they could get jobs there.  They pilled in an old beater and finally got there after tons of stuff they had to overcome.  Come to find out, CA sucks balls just like OK.  Anyway, moral of the story is that it sucks to not have money but you can make it work if you stick together (except for the Jodes that bailed).  The End.

AP Prep we aren't doing a book report summary that'd be easy the prompt is: Discuss the gender roles of the women in the Joad family and how it is un-common from the traits most women of the time are given.

great book and the answer to her question is that the Joad women are the glue that binds the family together in an environment where supposedly only the strongest men can survive

Ultimately their leadership roles when helping to preserve the family were illusory and that they were always sacrificing for the benefit of others.  This comes to a climactic point at the end of the book when the daughter feeds the starving Okie weirdos with her breast milk.  I'd say that pretty much reduces her to a commodity.

Thank you guys, i have an hour left to finish and send it off. the 3 points i'm using is Ma Joad's strong will to keep the family together at all times, her role as the emotional leader of the family and Rose of Sharon's breast feeding the dude to save his life taking on the hero role. i'm gettin  so i'm going to try to keep truckin thru it

Great book.  The gut wrenching part for me was the fact they destroyed food to push up prices and there were hundreds of thousands starving.  What a &@#%ing mess. 

Also a great example of how gullible and retarded Okies are.  LMFAO.

I know its too late now, but you could have made your essay have a lot more 'impact' if would have embedded tupac's 'keep ya head up' video at the end.

its the same message and shows you are able to reinterpret classics in todays culture

probably would have earned you a A for the rest of the semester
