Because ku's football program couldn't possibly have improved since Mangino took over.

2007 obviously bothers you an awful lot, though.  Did someone say "BCS Orange Bowl?"

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Nice season for ku . . . I imagine any team with that kind of talent that played a 77 SOS regular season schedule would likely win a lot of games.

Okay... so how is that a fluke?  Wasn't Va Tech ranked #3 in the nation going into the Orange Bowl?

Dear ku fan,

Win the North just once before you start bragging about your football program.

Sincerely,

Va Tech's offense that year was about on par with ku's old offenses.

Win 12 games in a season, win a BCS bowl, even up the all-time series, and then we'll talk football.  K?

Notice how I said regular season, and Virginia Tech didn't belong, nor never deserved to be in the Top 5 in the country.   We went over that . . . seriously, they were with in 2 spots of a team that absolutely embarrassed them earlier in the season . . . come on.   But that's the everlasting love affair that the media and the pollsters have for Virginia Tech.

Again, nice season for ku, and no doubt a team with that kind of talent playing a 77 SOS regular season schedule is going to win a lot of games, and likely qualify for a really good bowl game.

Dude, I posted that knowing you'd be all over it in like 5 minutes, and I was damn close.

Should we go back and find your post ku vs Texas Tech meltdown again, and go over it word for word??

Are you seriously bringing rankings into this?  Have you conveniently forgotten that the entire 2007 season was a complete fluke in every possible way? I mean, even the national champion had two losses, for God's sake.  Virginia Tech being ranked #3 in the nation at the end of the season means absolutely nothing because it's a complete fluke.  Much like ku backing into a BCS bowl when they didn't even win their HALF of the league.

Sorry, brah.  Fluke.

Cincinnati played in the Orange Bowl last season, lost by 3 to V Tech

Orange Bowl?  More like Orange You Supposed To Be Watching A Relevant Bowl?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Yep, lots of pressure on ku this year . . . lets hope Mangino keeps his anger issues in check for everyone's sake.

So if ku is the preseason favorite to win the North, what is the point of this thread?
