Yeah, Bo lost his crap that day.

I like when Bo gets mad.  Did you see him yell at the reporter after they had a bad practice yesterday.  Great stuff.

He's irritable as hell.  But it's a breath of honest, angry air after the smirky, polished loser who coached our team prior to Bo's return.

God forbid a football coach drink alcohol in a public place while in New Orleans after winning a National Title!   :ohno:

It's like looking in a mirror

Both of our programs got shafted with sandy, tabasco lube by an AD going for flash and polish and perceived recruiting prowess over actual football coaching ability.

We both seem to be back on the right track, though.

Bo is a drunken punk, Callahan was a brute. Not a whole lot more needs to be said imo.

Barely.

Much like the man, Cally's recruits were all stars, no heart or grit.

He brought in some good guys, but had a lot of highly touted busts (especially on O).  In a word, his recruiting acumen was overrated.

Reports from spring camp say that we're just NOW - after Bo's first class of redshirts have been released into the pond - getting deep and athletic, when we should have been all along if BC was the recruiter he duped many of us into thinking he was.

A "brute?"

What are you, an insulted, 17th Century lady-in-waiting?

This is football.  Coaches get pissed.  Deal with it, or watch soccer.

Just wondering how you considered Callahan "polished"...Hell, i'd say "Bo Big Red" is more polished than Callahan.

Now he limits it to yelling at dorm directors that won't give his niece preferential treatment.  Congrats!

Polished in how he deals with the media and public, and the outward facade he painted on the program.  He always had a smirky, even keel during interviews and on his show, win or lose.  It was infuriating.  Bo wears his heart on his sleeve, and if he's pissed, you'll know it, and why.

Most/nearly all coaches lose their minds during games.  That's the nature of the sport, and the position.

All I do is laugh at all the Bug Eaters now talking smack on Calafraud. Where were you when he was driving your program into the ground? You were all dangling from his sack, humping his leg like a shnauzer in heat - CLASSIC!

Much like you guys and Prince.

I supported BC (when half our fans didn't, factionalizing the fanbase, breaking up message boards, etc.), as I thought he could recruit NU back into prominence.

I was wrong, and he was exposed as a fraud.

Now we rebuild.  Sounds familiar, right?

Sorry for dominating you guys in your "down years" (top ten team in '98 & '00).

Oh, and sorry to little Bo Peep for putting 38 on his pathetic defense in '03. He really let Snyder hear it for doing so. :shy:

You're totally right.  Cause this guy was always getting hammered in NOLA and providing nice picture opportunities.

Thank you for reiterating just how far UNL football has fallen.

*edit-   Feel free to scroll back and forth between the two pictures.  It just keeps getting worse.
