Ell was never charged or arested.  Snyder punished him after the season because he didn't know the details of the incident until after the team returned to Manhattan.  Even though no laws were broken, the seedy nature of what Ell participated in had to turn Snyder's stomach.  That, IMO, was the reason for the punishment.  I also think this contributed significantly to Bill's 1st retirement.

The ku Star ran a story on Crawford today.  http://www.kansascity.com/385/story/1137311.html   Funny thing is, there wasn't a single story regarding KSU in the paper today.  Guess we have to keep discussing the stories that are timely and relevant to this board.
