We lose 3 Starters on offense, 5 on defense.

offense:
wafford
freison
figurs/moreira (@#%$)

defense:
seiler (yawn)
echols (@#%$)
archer (@#%$)
diles (@#%$)
williams (@#%$?)

hopefully the o-line gets their act together.  i don't think the loss of wafford and freison will be too bad.  figures and moreira will hurt, we'll need brown to step up.

defense concerns me a lot.  but damn...we are LOADED with d-ends (who would of thought?) and d-backs.  that might be enough to save our defense.

Guys we will miss . . .

Offense: Frieson, Wafford, Figurs, Moreira, maybe Meier?

Special Teams: Snodgrass, Mortimer, Figurs

Defense: Echols, Seiler, Archer, Diles, Kyle Williams

Zach Kendall would not have redshirted if he hadn't been injured. If he can come back 100%, he will be a good one at DT. Maybe Balkcom can do at least as well as Seiler after a year in the program.

Not sure who will step in at WR. Wilson, Purvis, and Gonzales seems to be the backup guys--doesn't really strike fear into the hearts of our opponents. Would love to get a JC WR to come in at semester.

The OL is going to be interesting again.

Hollis might be the SS.

Frieson/Wafford are average.  Figurs and Moreira are fast, we will miss them, but I think we have enough at WR to fill in well when they leave.

We will miss Echols, Archer, Diles, and Williams.  I like how our younger defenders are getting PT though.

Won't miss Snodgrass when we Josh Cherry coming in.

Jordy will be back, he is just injured, right?  Will Lamark play WR?

yes, Nelson should be back next year. I had forgotten that Lamark intends to play WR. He might not be an instant impact guy, though, since he will have to learn the position. I'd still like to get a JC WR.

    This ZERO is my Hero
Losing Moreira and Figurs will suck, but remember Prince likes to feature the TE.  So if Norwood gets his stuff together and Mastrud and Pooshke make strides, Josh will be throwing  to them alot, which will open things up for Jordy and maybe Cedric Wilson on the outside.

Not too mention, if Patton proves to be the real deal, he will be a stud next year.  That and lets hope Johnson comes around and gives us a nice 1-2 punch.

Gonzales is a solid route runner. Much better than Figurs. Not a home run threat though, but gets open.

We only lose 4 on D.  Seiler hasn't been starting the last couple of games even though he's still listed first on the depth chart.  Echols and Moran have been starting in the middle and my guess is it will stay that way.  Moran has played well the past couple of games.  Diles and Archer will be the hardest to replace.  Echols and Williams are good but we have other guys that are getting time at their positions and look to be good players.

wouldn't be surprised if archer was drafted in the later rounds.  i can see wafford and echols having a chance at being late rounders, but they'll likely be FA.  diles will probably be FA
