August 25 2009  7:00am  American Eagle Embraer ERJ140LR bound for Manhattan Kansas leaves Terminal B at DFW Intl. 



Early in the morning there is no wait to get on runway 36R and be cleared for takeoff



Flying over the Red River, the passengers on the right side of the aircraft have a nice view of Lake Texoma.


Flying over OKC at a cruising altitude of 28,000 ft.


Cruising over Northern Oklahoma and Southern Kansas


Preparing to turn North East over Wichita.


Beginning the descent into MHK


Picking up the ILS for MHK runway 3, lining up for final approach over Marshall Army Airfield

lurker, wouldn't mind seeing the return flight. I highly doubt flights from Dallas will be leaving to MHK at 7 am. Prolly the other way around.

Can do the return flight tomorrow.  Since we don't know the schedule yet I just figured that the flight would originate at DFW early in the day, fly to MHK then return to DFW.  Will be fun trying to get into line to land back at DFW tomorrow 

And no MHK buildings in the program.  Only the larger airports like DFW have all their almost exact buildings in the program.

You can construct the buildings on your own, if you have the time and skillz.  Always made me mad that none of Hawaii's airports outside of HNL were accurate.

I remember i had flight simulator 98, and you could land/taxi/takeoff on the water. . .very realistic.
