Thinking about eating at Houlihan's across from the old football stadium. Is this a good place to eat?

Thinking about eating at Houlihan's across from the old football stadium. Is this a good place to eat?

Houlihans' is much, much better now than it was years ago (KC founded restaurant chain), but it's still just pretty standard chain food (e.g. TGIF, Applebee's, Chili's, Bennigans, Ruby Tuesday's, etc.)

It's tough for me to bring myself to eat anywhere but Hibachi Hut when I am looking for a decent meal in Manhattan. Burgers at So Long are top shelf, but the best "meal" is the Hut.

I'm not here to bash on Applebee's.  The &@#%ing riblet is genius.  Just sayin' that the Hut is very good, IMO.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's basically one of those big (maybe 1 liter) beer mugs filled with long island ice tea (your choice of flavor a little too sugary for me), gold fork used to have regular sized long islands for $2 on thursday nights, that was a deal.

i sorta remember those good ole gold fork nights. not even being able to talk drunk, before even taking a step in aggieville is always a good start. i  :'( the gold fork.

Anyone else remember "Kirby's" on highway 24 by Dick Edwards? Amazing buffet food. Nothing like EMAWing it up at a game then chowin' down on an endless amount of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. Then, topping it off with dessert that you really didn't have room for.

I would start think about all the "good ole times" as well, if I were less than 2 weeks away from the end.  Hey remember when we went to Ames, good times. :'(
If I were you I would also make sure all of my affairs are in order.

I was tore up, no doubt. I just ended up walking 7 miles the wrong direction, through treacherous terrain, barbed wire, rivers, dogs, heck of a night I won't forget.
