    Hey, basketball!!!
I'll bring OU tape from last season.  28-28.
We really had them by the balls. :ksu:

If we were more conditioned then we would've closed that game out. :blahblah:

Anybody have a VHS of the '89 Frank Hernandez game?

Please explain this to those such as me who were 6 years old in 1989.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

How about thsoe of us who were about 4 months old when the game was played.

(Disclaimer: Was born in May 1989, so that number could change depending on what month the game was played in)

Let's do this.

OK.

I think we need to do this up correctly.

I think it need to be treated like "alumi weekend" for ksufans.  Below are my ideas (I am not joking about any of them):

  • ksufans BBQ contest.  Participants compete, the attendees judge, winner gets nice write up on ksufans by Curtis Kitchen.
  • ksufans "Tournament of Champions" (concept stolen from the 1994 Intramural MBB One-on-One All University champion runner-up).  Participants engage in a series of events to determine the ksufan champion.  Events could include: Law darts, Bowling (real or Wii), Skeet shooting, home run derby with aluminum bats and tennis balls, 40 yard dash with recorded 40 times, triple jump (Manhatter would love this)
  • Maybe TP can arrange for us to get a group tour of Vanier and BSFS?
  • Manhattan scavenger hunt, with designated drivers (could be easily procured from the student ranks).
  • Guitar Hero/Rock Band competition (if you can lure 'Clams from the Plaza, he's the early nod).

I am COMPLETELY SOLD on the following:
*bbq (CAN WE AMEND TO BURGER/CHEEZBURGER?) comp.
*home run derby/4.0 time/shuttle!!/punt pass n kick? (will bring my knee brace)
*TOUR OF VANIER!!! OMGOMGOMGOMG!! (no way this happens)
   *Scavenger Hunt (OMGOMGOMOMGOMGOMG!)
   *Guitar Hero comp.

Will probably have to narrow down and combine the scavenger hunt with the competitions so it is like a half-day race/competition so that there is a ridic formula thought up by sys/chingon (the brains) to determine winner.  Time + competition points - penalities + beers consumed + post count - elite m'boarder rank (1st place is 0 everyone else is -5 points per place)

Prizes?

If Terry can help arrange a Tour of Vanier, I am definitely going to be there . . . I'll be the oldest guy there, but what the hell.

jesus these are good ideas.

Do you think I could just call or email someone at vanier and set something (tour or whatev) up? Also could get tee time at CC if anyone wants to golf.

This thing is getting to big for KK's mom's house.  May need to reserve picnic area #3 at the city park for a gathering of this girth.

i could send the wife and kids to her parents for the weekend and we could have it at my place. i've got a double wide so room shouldn't be an issue.

You have like 17 dogs though.  I sat down on your couch and had a half fur coat when I stood up.

Let's move it to Tuttle.  They have excellent open spaces perfect for the athletic events, covered cement slab dining areas, cool with the booze (ID CHECKS MR. WINTERS!) and tons of hot babes @ Hippie Cove.

This outing continues to get better every minute.  Although I wonder if the older EMAW'ers will be joining us.  Then again, I have no idea of the demographics of people on this board.  :dunno:

RD is right, iirc, I did take part in planning several keg parties at the lake.

I don't need a fake DUI paper anymore to pick up the keg.  should be quite a difference.
