I posted 2-3 weeks ago that the KSU game is an ambush waiting to happen.

Princess, for some reason has it in for NU, particulalry HCBC. He has orchestrated the Freeman start this week to get the fans and team sky high.

This will really be a difficult game. It will be played amist of crazy fans and football players. Prince wants to make the NU game, their "rivalry".

We need to win this game really bad, in order to restore the order.

I will settle for a 1 point win, but we should beat them by 3-4 t.d.'s.

We'll need to stop their run game; then force Freeman to beat us through the air.

Also, KSU's defense is vastly better than ku's. Vastly!!!

KSU is capable of upsetting us. It will be interesting how HCBC gets the players motivated properly, with a killer game plan.

I'd like to see us use the same game plan as we used tonight. Let them try and stop our running game. I dare them. Next thing we'll know is that we have thrown another 75 yard t.d. against them.

I can't wait for this one.

    The very best.
Actually, the staff is really really obsessed with Nebraska.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

It's been pretty obvious from the start.

Usually people want to beat the crap out of arrogant talentless &@#%s like the nebraska football team. it just makes life sweeter. NU fans are the worst fans in college football when it comes to arrogance and people wanting to just rape your team in the ass. You are worse than ND and Texas combined. That is saying something.

I'm not quaking in my boots over a team that's beaten us once in their last four tries.

Well, considering that it's entirely possible that we don't win another game this year, I'd say it still looks reasonable.  I'd be quite happy to be wrong on that one, though.  The Marshall game left the Cats +1 according to my predictions, and that didn't change with the Baylor or OSU games.

Yeah, we did have to come from behind to win our most winnable game on the schedule.

5-7 doesn't look too bad.

That's cute jayhox type spin, but the reason people are excited is that Freeman and Patton won the game, not Meier and Clayton. Thus, our ceiling is much higher.

I agree, which is why I argued for Freeman from the start.  It sounds like the O-line did a lot better, which is also great news.  Wafford probably should have been our LT as soon as he passed the conditioning test.

Not to mention ISU at home is a MUCH easier win than OSU.

You didn't go to the game? wtf? can't lil rusty get you cheap students tickets?

I'm not sure I'd say they did a "lot better."  There was no time to look downfield on the play action, and they were helped quite a bit by the TEs and FB in the running game.

Agree on ISU.  I did overrate them when I made my season predictions.  They now look like the best chance for a conference win on our schedule.

We should also have a shot at Colorado, but I'm going to be concerned if they don't have a win by the time we go out to Boulder.  A "CU's only conference win was over KSU" storyline wouldn't surprise me at all.

At Mizzou and Texas at home don't look real winnable right now.

At ku is impossible to call right now.  Quite possible that bowl eligibility will be on the line for both teams that day.

Wedding.  I snuck out of the reception to hear OSU's last drive.

@ ku I'd still call a loss.

But you've got to hope out of ISU, @ku, NU, @CU and @MU we can pull out two.

    Not A Basketball Player
Its been especially hard this season to get a handle on the talent of the North. I never know what to expect out of any of the teams. i.e. the ku-Nubb game. The only thing that I am sure of is that Missouri might be legit.

It depends on when JCCC-L stars KM. if they end up starting him just a couple games before they play us then I think we have a shot because he is still extremely inexperienced and has missed three games now. If he doesn't play in the OSU game then I am thinking that we should have an extremely good chance of beating the squawks.
