there are so many foods that i see in grocery stores, and i think "who buys/eats this sh¡t?".

give me two other examples.

canned pasta.  canned meat.  "fake" luncheon meats.  imitation cheeses,  all frozen meal stuff, most of the bread products, .... i could list for day.

Fun fact:  In-A-Tub tacos in Kansas City (northland) use powdered cheese on their tacos.  It's omglicious.

As for hamburger helper: I think its name doesn't do it justice. It does far more for hamburger than help it. It's like hamburger savior.
