You will find no defense of Jim Rose here.  The fact that he is an assclown is something that I think we all can agree on.   :beerchug:

Rose?  LOL.  He's a goddamn mongoloid.  His verbal vomit makes Lou Holtz look like a Rhodes Scholar.

Come ON!  Stevie loves him.

Like I said.

He is widely regarded as the spiritual leader of the Husker Nation.

I find myself a little disturbed that Jim Rose refers to himself as "Rosie."

It's his pet name.

He was either talking to his hand or his boyfriend.

Did anyone else have constant images of Kevin Bacon in Animal House during Rosie's rant?

"Rosie" feels sorry for Josh. Pure comedy the first 15 minutes. There's one point where he sounds like he may cry.

Good stuff.  However, I don't know one Husker fan that doesn't think Jim Rose is a complete douchebag.  So this thread probably won't ruffle too many feathers.

Um...I said no one I know likes him.  Deductive reasoning should tell you I don't know any of the callers.

We really feel sorry for them.  We really feel sorry for Josh Freeman........

Proves my long-standing point about the utter condescension of Nebraska.........

Rose lives in a glass house.  Of course, there was no outrage when Joe Dailey de-committed from Syracuse in 2003 to go to Nebraska. But the Joe Dailey situation is even worse because Callahan threw him under the bus as soon as he got to Lincoln.  Joe Dailey chose to be a husker.  He didn't ask to be run out of town.

Did anyone else notice how Rose pointed out that Callahan "prepared" a team to play in the Super Bowl?  Did that Raiders team look like it was prepared to you?  Does "prepared" mean letting your starting center head down to Tijuana for some boozing before kickoff?  Yeah, Callahan "prepared" by cleaning out his office, I'll bet.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Just a heads up that he's going to be on with K.K. after the commercial. This should be good.  :chirp:
