AKA Riley County police

With all the snow we recieved me and my buddies decided to hook up a tube(usually pulled by a boat) to a truck and drive around in a feild in front of his house.

After about 30 minutes of this harmless shenanigans an officer from the Riley County police force pulls into the feild and demands that we stop, threatening us with "reckless driving". This field was part of his property too, not public.

If it was private property owned by one of you guys, why didn't you tell him to go lick his mother?

Reckless driving can be on either private or public property. Just like DUI. Sorry d00dz. Sucks.

Although I would agree. Fun sponge.

I used to get pulled behind a truck on a car hood. White trash heaven!

Would pulling the tube behind an ATV (provided one was available) have been legal in the same area?

    I'm with Coco.
I do know of two little girls that died doing this from separate incidents. So yeah, people need to be smart about it.

Ya its on claflin. Pretty sweet field for all sorts of shenanigans.

Freshman year we put an old couch on 2 by 4's and pulled it around on some side streets. Now that is definately wreckless driving. But in a feild? Come on fun sponges.

And I'm not a little girl so I'm to worried about the safety issues. I've got two testes that allow me to go tubing in the snow and not get hurt....

Pretty hard to control, nearly slammed into a couple of parked cars. Managed to fit about 7 people on the couch.

Hmm, interesting.  Thisishappening and myself drove by yesterday on our way to Dara's and commented about how much fun it looked.  We even considered going and asking if we could join.  It looked that fun.

I walk by that field about every day.  Guys, It really is a great field.

Ya, bobby criole or something to that effect lived there about 2 years ago. I lived there for 2 summers after freshman and sophmore years. Great house for parties and tailgates since its off the street and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the fun sponges know this and declared it a nuisance house (too many noise complaints), it just got off the nuisance house list about a year ago.

You should of stopped by Dlew, it was THAT fun.

It's a widely known fact that most law enforcement officers are closet homosexuals, and take out their sexual frustrations out on citizens.  Just sayin'

totally. i had the official "land speed record" for a good thirty minutes. somewhere around 35-40mph iirc. waterski tow rope tied to the back of a toyota pickup truck. no tube or anything just the shoes on your feet and the streets of candlewood and neighboring communities below them

Very elite field. used to walk by there every day when i lived in Chase during college. Freshmen year we stole some trays from the Kramer and screwed them to an old recliner during a big storm. We used a waterski tow rope and pulled that chair all over the west bramlage parking lot. :kstatriot:
