...the state of KS has its best crop of girls talent ever and Deb lands none of them, see this. It get's really bad when she can't land the sisters of current and former players...it says something when parents don't want to send more of their kids somewhere. Deb missed on:

Taber Spani (KS HS Player of the year, sister of current player Shalin Spani and daughter of the Gary Spani) is headed to Tennessee :banghead:

Joanna McFarland (sister of former lady cat Jessica McFarland) is headed to OU.  :banghead:

geebus Deb go coach at a catholic HS in San Francisco.

Taber is way better than her sis and has been planning on going somewhere bigger for years.

Deb just gets the leftovers and then prays 'em up!
“Nobody plays harder than Kansas State.  Bilas said that to me in person,” Martin said. Now, does that mean that I’m happy every day?  No, because it’s our job to continue to get those guys to continue to grow.”

We need some of those 6'8" mostly-man black women that always seem to kick our ass come tournament time.

Deb is the Roy Williams of women's basketball.... Can't do squat come tourney time here, but will win a championship the next place she goes.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Really dude, you could have just typed a simple "nm",  that along with the thread title would have been sufficient.  GTFOOH Deb, next you'll be telling us it was God's will that KSU lost in the second round.  The only thing more embarrassing than playing the women's NIT is winning the women's NIT.

lol @ the deb hate.

let me s'plain this.  noone cares about chickball.  but we have to have it because of title 9.
since we have to have it, we might as well be good at it.  deb gets the team to the NCAA tourney on a regular basis and has won the conference a time or two.  why the &@#% would you run her out of town?  it's not like the expectations are to win women's titles, or that k-state has some history of wbb success.

if we have to have it, and she is good enough to get to the NCAA's and win the conf, then stfu and let it be.  would kill for that same kind of success on the men's side.

if something bothers you about chickball then my suggestion is to pretend it doesn't exist like the rest of college sports fans.

Are you kidding?  She was recruited by Tennesse and UConn.  By FAR the best two wbb programs in the county. GMFB.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

:ksu:

Kstate will never go far because of this. Watch Uconn or Tennesse women and the game doesn't look that far off of mens play. Watch Kstate play and it looks like a bunch of girls playing basketball.
