The Kreeme kup in Wamego is really good. imo.

Yeah, kreem kup in Manhattan (RIP) didn't have a drive through.
Bucky's in Lawrence is quite good.

I'm not sure Bucky's is there anymore.  I think they might have closed down...

yeah buckys closed a couple of years ago.

chickfila and whataburger are good. check that. chickfila is amazing and whataburger is good.

It's great for like, the first two bites.

Then it gets hard to eat because grease is building up in your throat every time you swallow.  If you manage to finish it, you feel like you have a brick in your stomach.

It's one of those things I'll get a weird craving for once every 6 months, buy it, and then regret it 30 seconds in.

A&W root beer on tap is pretty cool though.  (Providing it's one of those LJS/AW hybrids.)

Zarda BBQ as excellent diminishes any real value this thread had

Drive through roast beef (real roast beef, not that fake arby's crap) + corn on the cob + drink for $6.  A real meal for the same price as crap meal.  You just can't beat it.

Guess you don't like the BBQ sauce?

OT:  Have you guys seen that Dairy Cream knock off between, like, Manhattan and Marysville called Daisy Kreem?  LOL at naming a place Daisy Kreem.
I love seeing places like that in small towns. Their entire operation revolves around the fact that they have a soft serve ice cream machine.

Excellent analysis imo

Across McCall Rd from Walmart by the IHOP, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, and Taco Bell. They have steak burgers and pretty delicious fries. Their Chicago style hotdog is also pretty good.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Starting out a thread about good/bad food by labeling Zarda BBQ as excellent diminishes any real value this thread had, but it's about food so i'll continue w/ it-

First, let me start off with the Contenders
In-N-Out burger
5 guys burgers and fries
Sonic (footlong chili cheese coney, homie)

Now, the Pretenders
Wendys
T Bell
Sonic (everything but footlong chili cheese coney)

Finally, the GTFO of my facers
BK - would rather eat dog crap w/ ranch dressing on it

Is taco tico still around?

I'm surprised a young pup such as yourself has heard of Taco Tico, nice job.  They're getting increasingly harder to find.  I was down in Winfield for Christmas and for some reason got a hankerin' for some Tico.  My Grandma had to break the news to me that Taco Tico had recently closed.     :'(

GTM/Cat's Closet/Quizno's owner owns Freddy's, everything he owns is redic, should just follow him around.

I love seeing places like that in small towns.

Ever been to Bogey's (Salina)? One order of their chili cheese fries could feed a small nation, and probably subsequently kill them.

Arby's is one of the tops.

Carl's Jr. has those delicious waffle fries.

We also have a place called Good Times that serves tasty greaseburgers.  They're elite though cuz they use romaine lettuce.

Nobody can beat Wendy's for their combination of awesome burgers and being open late.

I'm a little upset the local Taco John's went under.

Has anyone ever been to a drive-thru liquor store?

this list is craaaaaazy. all the way down to the drive-thru liquor store. i'm pretty sure i've been to them before but why would you drive through? half the fun is going inside and picking out what you want. a drive through liquor store would be like a drive through firework stand. why would anyone want this

Yeah, Sonny Ballard built a little empire, which has pretty much disappeared.  I went into Ballards in Aggieville to buy some running shoes a while ago, and I was shocked by how small and crappy that place had become.  I couldn't find anything even halfway decent there.

Sonny also had elite radio commercials during Cat games, since he was unable to pronounce his Ls or Rs.  ("Come down to Bawad's Outwet!")

Who goes to bogey's and doesn't or the wonder meal? Or goes to salina for that matter?
