It's like a giant weight has been lifted from ksu athletics shoulders.  you can now fly to manhattan from basically anywhere in the world in one stop.  and more importantly, texas 'cruits can now fly directly to ksu (no stops.)

American Eagle Jets? Sh*t, I'm 6'4" and I pretty much lose any blood in my legs when I fly on those goddamn regional jets. You're gonna let a 6'6" football stud or a 7'0" basketball recruit get crammed in there like that? Doesn't sound very EMAW to me  :kstatriot:

I kinda like being taller than everyone else at my school except the basketball and football team.

But yeah this is good cause if I go to KSU for grad school I won't have to drive all the way over to KCI to catch a flight back to DFW to connect to Austin or San Antonio.

I was hoping for DC.   I'm assuming there are flights from DC to DFW?  Would make 'Te's life a lot easier, which is all I really care about.

'Te has flown Midwest Airlines direct from KCI to Reagan National in the past.  Very comfortable seats on those flights for the top recruiter in the country.

wow.  that's a great board.

i'm guessing the prices are going to be pretty outrageous for stand alone flights, but reasonable when connecting.

I fly fairly often on all the major airlines and I find it depends more on the carrier and route than the actual aircraft when it comes to  the amount of legroom you have in coach. The tightest fitting seat with the least amount of legroom I have ever experienced was on a Delta 767 from ATL to CDG. My knees rubbed against the seat in front of me for nearly 7 hours and was pure hell. Makes a flight on a ERJ or CRJ seem roomy, and no middle seat is always a plus.

Flew on a regional jet from Wichita to Allentown PA via Chicago.  I'm also 6'4", had a window seat and I was very comfortable the entire flight.  Only problem I had was bumping my head on the overhead compartment  :shy:

yes it would be a huge upgrade over what now seems like flying in the planes they used to transport paratroopers during the normandy invasion.  it's like riding in a cadillac vs a smart car.  no comparo
