his lane had to merge into mine, and he tried to speed up to get in front of me..but i didn't slow down. was gonna make him get behind me. so he's right next to me when his lane ends...and instead of hitting the breaks and merging behind me, he swerves into ME and forces me into oncoming traffic. i slam on my breaks and get behind him..should have let him hit me, but i didn't want to be in an accident if i could help it.WTF is wrong with people

Dick drivers, that's who.Sounds like it was two lanes in his direction going into one. Changing lanes would have put him into oncoming traffic. TAFNA planned ahead and was in the surviving lane. The classy driver in the other lane really should have yielded the right of way.
This kind of thing doesn't happen to elite defensive drivers like myself.

there was nowhere for me to go but into oncoming traffic. our two lanes turned into one. my lane survived. his didn't. i basically said all this already.
