Imposter.

But just for good measure:

On, Wisconsin! On, Wisconsin!
Plunge right through that line!
Run the ball clear down the field,
(originally "Run the ball clear 'round Chicago")
A touchdown sure this time.
On, Wisconsin! On, Wisconsin!
Fight on for her fame
Fight! Fellows! - fight, fight, fight!
We'll win this game.

On, Wisconsin! On, Wisconsin!
Stand up, Badgers, sing!
"Forward" is our driving spirit,
Loyal voices ring.
On, Wisconsin! On, Wisconsin!
Raise her glowing flame
Stand, Fellows, let us now
Salute her name!

I don't mean to speak for all admins, but I'd certainly welcome them(her) if they(she) chose to post here.   Obviously, based on Allan's relationship with many of the kids who remain in our program, I'm sure that they get some great inside info on the goings on at Vanier.

I really don't know why so many folks at GPC.com got their panties all in a wad over the stuff that was shared to be honest, but I'd hope that most K-State fans would welcome any info that they might be able to share.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

She's a bitch.

That's ridiculous. So, based on an anonymous message board, you can decide whether or not someone is a bitch? Unreal. You have real talent, dude.

Whats with people attacking J-mart? Seriously.

Did one of his articles hurt your poor little feelings?
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

I was giving J-Mart a hard time. Everybody has been attacking him about calling the parents of players, although I don't agree with it, I honestly don't care, I don't write for a newspaper.. However Goldy, I have wished death upon you multiple times.

Funny... I wish someone would tell me how else to proceed with my job when a) the players don't show up for interviews and sports information folk tell us we can't contact the players, b) assistants aren't to be spoken to, and c) Prince doesn't say a damn thing.

Think I should call parents then? I think I should call or contact anyone who might know something about the program I cover. But that's just me...

Apparently you didn't read the part about how I don't write for a newspaper. Maybe you didn't catch on to the fact that I was implying that I didn't have knowlege of what someone should do in your situation. I did say I don't agree with it, but that had nothing to do with me saying you didn't do your job accurately. That is why I added that I didn't care and that I didn't write for a newspaper. You're the sportswriter, why do you care what we all think anyway? You know what job you are supposed to be doing, and you are doing it the way you think is right, I don't know why you feel you have to justify yourself to a bunch of message board critics.

He isn't justifying anything, he's asking to think about the way he approaches his job.  He doesn't need validation from this message board.  I think you're making more out of this than you need to.

He was merely pointing out, from his viewpoint, how he deals in information gathering.   I think he cares about what we think, but probably not in the way you'd believe.

I should apologize, though. I was pretty drunk when I posted the last thing. Let that be a lesson to all - don't drink and post.

Jeff, keep on doing what you're doing.  I much prefer how you go about your job than someone like Jason King from the KC Star.  He writes his stories with pom poms.  It's funny, no one criticized you for calling the parents of bball recruits to get information.

I'm cool with criticism. I'm just getting frustrated right now with the flow of information within this program, and I've been taking it out on innocent bystanders. Sorry, all.

Well, frustration seems to have created all sorts of adverse effects, no one is immune to it...  Keep doing your thing and sooner or later, things have got to turn...

I think it's funny how sensitive and defensive the K-State fan base  --much less on this board than anywhere else, I might add --and the media covering K-State is right now.

But, consider this, if this team was 4-1 or 5-0 right now, and a player left, would anyone care who J-Mart quoted in his story? Anyone?

The fans are frustrated because of obvious reasons. The media is frustrated because we don't have the ability to do our job to the extent we should be able to. And now, because both parties can interact with each other, they can take it out on each other. In reality, no one is less responsible for the problems of this program right now than the fans and the media.

As Nation might say, if you're not involved, it's entertaining.
