Matt will be back in Manhattan early next week to have surgery on his shoulder. KSU's insurance policy is covering the surgery.
If anyone is still questioning whether Prince truly mistreated Boss last week, consider this:
Boss has a torn rotator cuff and there is some kind of tear in the ligaments around his clavicle and collarbone area.
Don't believe the K-State spin about Boss's injury. If he was cleared to practice and just being a "pu...y" he wouldn't be needing surgery that will likely keep him away from contact for 3-5 months. The KC Star reported this morning that Boss is having surgery.
It should also be noted that every newspaper and TV station in Kansas has been contacting Boss non stop since yesterday morning. Boss and his family have declined any interviews. Boss has also received scathing E-mails and phone messages from K-State fans calling him a "pussy" and a "Quitter."
The family has declined media requests because they're concerned about how the rest of the state, KSU fans in Matt's hometown, and the KSU "Spin Media" are going to portray him. They want the whole thing to end, and they're trying to take the high road.
