would be a wow number.  no idea if bossi is a credible source or not.

Quote
the number going around that UGA is going to throw at Capel is 2.8 million dollars.

how do we feel about this? i'd love to see ou suck, but i also like seeing them good.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

would be nice if they had to fork over tons of money for their coach.  that's a win for ksu.

2.8 is crazy money for capel, but i don't think they want to lose him.  would be an interesting decision.

they lose him and they will bring someone in equally good, if not better.  it's a zero sum game, it's OU.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Pretty easy to be the best team in the SEC lately, and ou will always be a football first type school, but then again so will uga, my guess is he parlays the offer into a raise and extension at ou.

dunno dude, ou takes "football school" to a new level. they have like one sellout all year, and they are fraggin badass this year. i bet uga would support their bball team much better.

I think the sec is an easier conference to win in, but those sec people just seem so "when does football start", probably a toss up which school cares less about basketball imo

You can't be racist and like basketball.
I don't think OU will be able to get someone much better.  Sampson didn't recruit like Capel could.  Dunno if they'll get some guy that just automatically brings in McDAA's.

    Fear the Brick
I want Capel to stay the hell away from Maryland.  The Big 12 kind of needs to think about keeping its good coaches.  We're slowly becoming a nicer version of the MVC.

Good point about Griffin falling into Capel's lap.  Without Griffin, Capel isn't so overrated.

Does Krzynewski have a HCIW?

You'd think Capel would just hang around OU racking up wins until SheShefski left.

I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.
