I have not seen a lot of OSU games, so I don't know if it's best to out-big them or match up in guards.

Unfortunately, we do not have a center that can allow us to pound them at the basket.

I would like to see the following lineup for most of the game:
Kent-C/F-Bring in Colon/Anderson just for breathers
JamSlam-F-Bring in Colon/Anderson just for breathers
Pullen-PG/SG-Brown to allow minutes and fill in for Awaji's offense if Sutton is on the court
Denis-PG/SG-Brown to allow minutes and fill in for Awaji's offense if Sutton is on the court
Awaji-SF/SG-Bring in Sutton if Awaji becomes liability on D and is not shooting well.
Play an extended zone to force OSU to shoot inside against what should be our advantage in height.  On offense, this probably gives us the best group to take advantage of individual match-ups.

My key players tonight are Jamar and Fred Brown.  Assume that Denis and Eat-a-ton will cancel out each other.

Players that should see limited minutes: Colon, Anderson.  Match up problems both sides of the court.

What you think?

Now that's how you get out a f***ing blood stain.
i think sutton matches up well w/ the style osu likes to play.  awaji was decent against the type of player isu/nubbs trot out there.  we'll see how he does against a higher caliber athlete and in a more intimidating atmosphere.
When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Try to keep them off the line. They are the best Free throw shooting team in the league at 76%. We should own the glass if they are having shooting issues because they are towards the bottom of the league in rebounds per game. Our size can be key. We have to have athletic size on the court however to match there 4 guard sets. With that being said I like this lineup...

Clemente vs Eaton
Pullen vs Page
Sutton vs Anderson
Samuels vs Muonelo
Kent vs Moses

I also see us playing some zone is this game if our bigs begin to struggle against the 4 guard set. Who knows maybe Frank throws something out there we have never seen before...

OSU's starting lineup will be

Eaton
Page
Harris
Anderson
Moses

OSU's weakness is rebounding and tending to jack up too many three point shots.  You are a more physical team.  Athletically I think both teams are similar.  Should be a good game, I will be there with a K - Stater so one of us will be happy when its over

If Harris is starting I am not sure who will cover him... Just another guard to cover and I am not sure JamSam can handle that... Maybe we go with Sutton on Harris and Jam Sam on Anderson... Hope Jam Sam is ready for the challenge...

Offensive boards and second chance points could be huge.

That creates a problem for OSU on the defensive end, because from what I have seen Samuels is a beast on the offensive boards and will be tough to defend in the post.  Anderson is our best matchup for him but we can't afford to get Anderson in foul trouble.

JamSam is one of the best in the league in drawing fouls... could be a thing to watch tonight if that is indeed the matchup...

Did not know that Moses played with Jamar and Dom.  Hopefully, they know a few secrets about his game to keep him in check.

sophomore forward Marshall Moses has 63 rebounds in the last five games ... he attended prep school with K-State’s Dominique Sutton and Jamar Samuels.

Yes, and we recruited him as well.  Extremely atheletic.  Kinda reminds me of Sutton

    Fear the Brick
A variation of Clemente, pullen, brown, awaji at the 1,2,3 and then Dom at the 4 and Kent at the 5, Samuels rotating in the 4,5 spots and Ron rotating in at the 5.  I'd like to see Luis as little as possible.

Colon won't be able to keep up with how fast of a pace this game will have... He sees less than 10 minutes in this game.
