    Gettin' angried up!!!
KK once again proving he is just your typical talk radio hack...

Either:

A - he just wants the ratings and being that he is in KC and lots of Sqwauk fans listen this is a great way to bait them into calling in to profess their love for Ostertag 2.0

OR

B - he has absolutely no idea how to evaluate basketball talent, if he truly believes Aldrich is the best player in the conference.

What's with the sudden, Cole Aldrich is the next Kevin McHale arguments, GMAFB

 :billypopcorn:

Cole is a good ball player alright, no doubt about that.  But, there's no way any sane person could say he is better than Griffin.  First game back from a concussion, and he goes for 20 and 19.  That game would be as good as any that Cole has played, but for Blake it was simply par for the season.

Griffin- 21.9ppg, 14.0rpg and 1.3 blocks/gm for the season.
Cole-   15.1, 10.8 and 2.5.

 :dunno:

KK is fantastic.

My favorite is when he gets a caller on that he disagrees with and he'll set up fantastical straw man and just be like:

"Which one?  Well?  Which one is it going to be?  Well, I guess you can think that but I think that's really weird man.  Does not go with my way of thinking at all.  And I appreciate the call..."

I know Kansas has the better sports tradition, both football and basketball, but we don't need KK jumping on the Kansas bandwagon.

Ah yes, the storied football tradition... since Sept 07. Obviously there is a tradition of roundball - Naismith invented it and coached at uk (too bad he had a sub .500 record) but basketball tradition - no question. Now if you pass the bong this way, I will take a hit (and I stopped doing drugs years ago) and maybe I will believe that there is a tradition of football at uk. Classic... keep 'em comin'.

that is so insane that it even goes beyond "my life sucks so bad that i'll come to my arch enemies message board and say something stupid to draw attention to myself"

i WILL give you this though... aldrich outplayed him in their recent game

ku and Oklahoma are tied for most players in the football hall of fame out of any Big 12 program.  ku leads the all-time series with K-State by roughly 30 games.  K-State was the first D-1 program to reach 500 losses.  Your football tradition really doesn't compare all that favorably to ku's.  Sorry to slap you in the face with reality like that, but it's true.

K-State doesn't have to look to far up the W-L list to find ku.

ku last won an outright conference title in football??  What is it now . . . 50-60 years ago or so??

If Mark Mangino were to kickoff tonight, he'd be the first coach to leave ku with a winning record in nearly 60 years.

So this "comparison" you keep talking about is really kind of, shall we say . . . stupid.

Since the inception of the Governors Cup, what is the series record between ku and K-State Bentard??

You can't be racist and like basketball.
ku fan's infatuation with KK is so weird.

He says something good about them and it's because he is setting them up for failure.  He says something bad about them and it's because he's a KSUCK homer.  He goes on vacation and it's because he's scared to say either.   LMAO, their takes on him are hilarious, he owns them so hard.

Yes, it is fantastic.  Don't forget about the shock and dismay that occurs when he has the "Racin' Boys" on immediately before/after every big ku game/victory.

LOL @ kietz's opinions on basketball.  I provoked a classic meltdown of his a few years ago on Powertard when I said he had no clue about K-State basketball.  He's pretty sensitive about his own ignorance.

Hey, I'm not the one who started acting all high and mighty about our respective school's football tradition.  They're both pretty weak compared to schools like Florida and USC.  I just get a chuckle out of it when K-State fans act like their program is better than ku's, even after getting worked the last couple of years.

ksu fans have the same relationship with whitlock.  it's probably a universal media hack-stupid person relationship.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

I'm one of the few ku fans that kinda likes Kietz, but he does have his powertard moments every now and then.  He absolutely hates Lew Perkins from what I can tell.

Yup, jut like I thought nothing about KSU being better than ku - nope not a word... insecurity on your part, maaaaaybe. I gave you props on the roundball and made fun of the fact that you used the words "tradition" and "uk futbol" in the same sentence. Cole has played well this year, no doubt.  Counting his money as we speak.
Why are you counting Cole's money?  I hope to god they teach counting at ku.
According to ku police reports, the fight involved as many as 100 people.
“We’re pretty sure an incident occurred,” said Capt. Schuyler Bailey, ku Public Safety Officer
“We will handle any discipline regarding this incident internally, and we will have no further comment about it.” Perkins

I don't know about any of you, but I'd rather have Griffin on my team than Aldrich any day.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

....and my point was that ku football does have a bit of tradition, just as K-State has its DoD.  Gale Sayers and John Riggins are NFL hall of famers.  Settle down, Tommy Boy.

KK is an absolute craphead.  Blake Griffin is the best player in the country no doubt in my mind.  Should be interesting to watch them face off in the Big XII Title game down in OKC.

Did all you tards miss the part about more valuable to his team what I gather is KK was talking about who was more valuable to his team, which is probably true since uk only has 2 legit players.
