Young hotshot DC with his pick of great jobs makes a triumphant return to his alma mater to work for a future hall of fame coach ... who promply reassembles a staff pretty much indistinguishable from the one that killed the Miracle in Manhattan the first time around.  So basically any improvement in recruiting or on-field performance will be up to Vic.  Yikes!

    Hey, basketball!!!
I definitely feel sorry for him. We plucked him off of the coaching market and teased him with how good our coaching staff was possibly going to be.

Then when VK signed his contract everyone decided to bail (and were replaced by senior citizens).

You better be an AMAZING recruiter Vic, because you're all that we got (besides JBC). :frown:

Of course he's scared... all HCsIW are scared!  :dancin: (pure speculation - there is nothing concrete about this at all)

Bobby Elliot was the biggest cancer on the previous staff so subbing him for Vic is kind of a big step up from the previous staff.

If you consider Vic to be a "young hot shot" then you must have no problem with Mike Smith going out and chasing high school chicks this weekend.

Is your life so sad that KSU football isn't enough?

So what happen to the 4 star stud that Koenning said would follow him anywhere?

If Koenning's recruiting doesn't improve, he is for a long dry spell at K-State. He might be a great coach, that just wont make much of a difference :yikes:.
