Solid Long Term Hire.  But, just knowing the acronym doesn't really explain it.  It was every coach in the Big 12 that was hired when we hired Hugs (and then Frank imo).  Everyone was all, "Pffttt, why didn't you get a SLTH coach?  He is going to destroy your program!"  Meanwhile, BzDeliackiakk, Doc, McDermott, etc. are SLTHing their way into the hearts of their fans.  It's a good acronym when you can use it as something other than a noun like I just did.  Another example of this is EMAW.  Like, I'm EMAWing my ass of....or I'm Feeling Really EMAWy.

Another good use of SLTH is as an adjective or adverb:

"Wow, McFatNeck sure looked SLTH-y when he flopped his jacket into the crowd."

yep, EMAW can be used in the same way.  That's when you know you have a winner.

me too.  The parrallels between a sloth and a SLTH is just another thing that makes the term fantastic, imo.

a good SLTH primer:  http://www.ksufans.com/forums/index.php?topic=21603.0

yes.  excellent.  Also, that was the origination of the McNeck

McDermott has an abnormally large head

His neck is the fattest neck I have ever seen.  You can see the tears in the eyes of the top buttons on his shirt as they just want to throw in the towel.  It completely engulfs his collar.  Gross.

LOL.  The SLTH hanging upside down is the icing on the cake.  Quick couple of questions though:  Are they the 3 toed variety?  And who would be the prehistoric giant SLTH in history?

I think the term came much more from the Frank hire than Huggs.  The entire world was saying we sold out our future for one season.  "Just made the hire for one recruiting class that would be gone in a year" ... "thinking short term instead of making a solid long term hire"  ... "You could have hired Mark Fox!" ... "stupid stick!"

The Huggs hire was much more about "selling our soul".  Everyone knew we'd be good in the long run w/ Huggs.  (had he stayed)
