    Anti-government
listened like every day while working this summer, mostly Ron Chapman filling in (who was better than Harvey)

Back when he gave a Landon Lecture a few years ago you could tell the mind was as sharp as always, but the body was failing him.  His speech was delivered with speed and clarity, but when it came time to answering audience questions, his voice would waver and he couldn't complete more than a few words at a time without pausing.  It was as if his mind knew where it wanted to go, but his voice wouldn't let him

Grew up listening to him.  He will be missed.

Anyone have the sound byte of him talking up K-State and Manhattan, KS?  They used to send that out in e-mails to prospective students.

Because there's nothing 17 year-old prospective students identify with more than....................Paul Harvey???????

But their parents, the ones that pay a lot of the bills, easily recognize the class that Paul Harvey was.

I'm going out to buy some Theragesic cream.

Paul Harvey (fifteen second pause) Good day.
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.
