Whether or not Cassel's season was a product of being on a team that went 18-1 the year before, still makes me happy that Pioli is actually willing to make a big move, unlike Carl

Of course, from the looks of things the Pats will have all of the chiefs draft picks at this rate  :-X

I think that means you guys win 0 games this year.

15-1 reg season w/o cassel.
Minus 10-5 w/ cassel = -5 wins

Chiefs 3-12-5 wins = -2.  I'm fine with that.

you mean 16-0, then essentially 11-5, since Brady only played 2 series (0 points)

Vrabel, just by stepping into the locker room, improves the Chiefs' defensive scheme. He has 55 career sacks -- which is more than Derrick Johnson, Demorrio Williams, Tamba Hali, Turk McBride and Alfonso Boone combined. The Chiefs recorded the worst pass rush in league history with just 10 sacks last season.

Jesus the Chiefs D is (was?) horrible.

Tony Gonzalez is a better TE than the horse face Shannon Sharpe.  Let it go dude.

And SS can thank TD and RayRay for those rings.

I thought that Cassel had been franchised?  So wouldn't the Chiefs have to give up 2 first rounders for him?

He would have counted almost $15 million against NE salary cap.
They didn't want to use it up on him...it's a win/win.

It was a good deal to get him a Vrabel for a second rounder, a potential starting QB (still want to see how he does as a Chief not a Pat) and a starting linebacker.

Saw a mock draft that had him going in the first to Minnesota.  I don't want that sorry son of a bitch anywhere near my Vikings.

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Big news today, Roy Williams the safety for the Dallas Cowboys has asked for either a trade or release from the Cowboys. The Chiefs need some safeties, do they go after Williams?
