Interesting popcorn-related anecdote:
The office at the KCKCC satellite in Leavenworth has a little popcorn maker, and one of my classes was directly across the hall. During class you'd get that nice popcorn smell, then afterwards you could have some (free for everyone). I think it tasted better because it was free.
Microwave popcorn: Good enough for me. I like to throw some season salt on it.
Microwave "kettle corn":

My grandparents have one of the old popcorn makers that has a small metal rod that spins around, and you have to pour the oil and kernels in it. When its done, you turn it over and remove the lid, which then becomes a bowl. My grandma puts molasses on it. It's not bad, but it isn't the way I would choose to eat my popcorn more than once every now and then.
