K-State to play what would have been a home game in Ames for Iowa State this year at Arrowhead for a nice gurantee.   Then next year 2010 what would've likely have been the lowest attended conference home game gets moved to Arrowhead for a large guarantee, while big money games like Texas and Nebraska are played in Manhattan.   Plus, at least for right now, KSU has a premium OOC in Manhattan next year against UCLA.

UCLA, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma State all visit Manhattan in 2010.

sorry but I'm unwilling to give anyone in our athletic dept any props right now

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

We gave up on Krause far too early, IMO.  You'd think we would have learned our lesson with Prince and not been so itchy to pull the trigger.  What this department...no, what this TOWN needs is some old blood.  Is Jack Hartman dead?  I honestly don't remember.  In any case, what we need is a council of about five living Jack Hartman equivalents - including Jack Hartman if possible.  You wanna talk about dominance, let me tell you about Ahearn Fieldhouse.  But that will have to wait for another time.

2 I-AA teams on the schedule really pissed me off. ISU at KC doesn't really bother me at all.

I accept Bramlage, and don't blame a building for any of KSU's basketball problems prior to the last 3 years.   In fact having been on both building's for many games, I think Bramlage can get just as loud as Ahearn.

But it would've been cool had they just remodeled Ahearn.

Not realistic.  Modern ADA requirements would've put an astronomical cost on remodeling an old barn like Ahearn.  We are not a school of Doctors and Lawyers.  We are just poor farmers after all.

Gallagher Iba - Okie State.

Could have been done.  It wasn't.  Was a terrible decision then and still is.

Maybe this is just me, but I think if KSU had gone to more than 6? ncaa tourneys in the 20+ years the OOD has been up and running, we'd probably have a different view of it.  anyone complaining about moving football from the Old Stadium?
