This hire is going to end up worse than the prince hire.

Frankly, that's just not possible.

That's not setting a very high standard to beat, but it's utterly inconceivable this hire could end up worse than Prince.  (Although anyone walking into this situation at KSU is destined to have a sucky record for the next two years.)

I wasn't necessarily talking about our record.  We hired a legend to come back and coach our football team.  Expectations among most of the fanbase are unrealistically high.  What happens when Snyder goes 5-7, 6-6, 6-6 the next 3 years?  Things will be ugly.  You can't fire him.  The stadium is named after him, and he's going to leave on his own terms.  This was just such a stupid hire.  At least we knew going in that if Prince sucked we could get rid of him without a second thought.

Oh, well then I mostly agree with you.  And I don't think our record will be any better than that for the next 3 years.

I do believe tho that keeping prince would've kept us going in the wrong direction... And with BS you at least know he will try and even if we have losing records you know certain parts of the program will be much better. That will be sending us in the right direction to get better again! Its just going to have to be a long wait...

I agree, though i don't even think it will get "ugly".  it will just get boring.  it already has, imo.  i have little to no desire to even watch ksu football next year.  i'm just going to be constantly waiting for basketball season to come.

i know. it's annoying. had we hired patterson, we probably still have a terrible recruiting class, but the "emaw pride" would be overflowing. every single two star scrub patterson would recruit, we would spin it like crazy and have fun doing so.

not so w/mr. 4-7,5-6 synder.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.
