Really, really, unbelievably bad shooting.  Amazing performance from Samuels.  Terrific D by The White Tiger.  A win is a win.

all in all, i'm surprised and satisfied with the overall performance this year... but honestly, this win was against a team that just happened to be a little bit worse than us (hardly worth a victory dance on our part)

except for the white tiger :kstatriot:... supremo effort my pale friend, in the face of adversity... i give you 4 out of 5 thumbs up!

But this was a game we most almost ALWAYS lost in years prior to the last 3.  So to win a game like this, when the team is probably peeking ahead to Mizzou is a big step for us.

Excellent job Cats.

Just like the CU game.  Get a close road win against a crap team and then stick it to Mizzou.  Let's hope for some deja vu.

    Hey, basketball!!!
I'm still wondering how this team is 7-5 in the conference. The same team who just shot 33% on the road and won.

Two men. Dalonte & Frank. :lick: :-*

Terrific D by The White Tiger.

wtige certainly deserves some credit, but really, props to the staff for their scout of brackins.  did the same thing to him in manhattan, totally overplaying the inside shoulder.  he seems to hate it.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

you are way off base. The staff kept Lou on him waaaaaaaaay too long.  That is DK knowing how to shut him down.  Give credit where it is due.

he stayed on long enough to show he couldn't follow the scout.  then they switched to a player that could.  anderson did fine on him too, and samuels kept in good position when he had him, brackins just bumped him out of the way.

not taking anything away from wtige.  he's the best of the post defenders.

DK did the work, but you have to credit the staff for the right scouting of Brackins.

We've been a fun team to watch all year.  Even those close losses in the OOC games.  We were bombing threes but just coming up short.  And then those three balls started to fall....

Got to love winning road grinders.  Incredible the toughness Frank has instilled in this team.  Love the ability to "win the ones you should".  Great road win.

had he done more on the offensive end as well i'd have dropped #5

honestly, re: lou's play... i don't think one guy can put 40min in against brackins with only five fouls to give... that's why i think frank used lou on him some... that and keeping dk's offensive continuity going for a while... like i said, i think all he can give us is a great effort on one end, and in this game great defense and mediocre offense was enough to get it done

This whole team will be back next year aside from White Tiger.  Imagine if they can get this effort from the current guys and have them help instill it into the new studs next year.  EMAW.  We will be in the elite four with out a doubt.

Worst team in the Frank Martin era, and he beats out neckbrace's best ever...with 4 games to go.

Things are definitely looking up.
