Sickening that people blame Bryce for any of this.

Not sure if it's a repost but this could give some hope.  :hope:

http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/91470-miami-rescinding-top-recruit-offer

I LOL every time a recruit has to go to a school to see how the "new offense is coming around."  This kid is turning into a Freeman-type recruit.  Sell your soul to get him, wants all kinds of guaranteed crap (PT, NFL offense, Program not built around him and blah blah blah), doesn't &@#%ing win anything meaningful in 3 years, and bounces with his NFL talent and the program in worse shape than when he came.  Bryce Brown (and Arthur) has been about himself from day one. If the kid was a team player and was willing to do what it takes to win, his high school coach probably wouldn't have called him out on being a FP when times got tough. The dude isn't going to help a program win any more games than any other RB in the nation.  He has Reggie Bush type potential with a Maurice Clarett attitude towards school.

Stop being a fp.

Why did Bryce's teams suck in high school?  :dunno:

Oh ya, I remember why.  1 athlete with a bad attitude doesn't help a team win.

Great players win games.

Just stop.

This is the reason K-State fans are the dumbest in the nation.

You know what I think will get us that National Title, that we've never had, and have about a 1,000,000:1 chance in getting? Bryce Brown and more like him.

You put Bryce Brown on the 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, or 2003 teams and we might already have that National Title, at least an appaearance... Yes, even considering Sproles.

But yeah, because he has the right to take as long as he wants, we should drop his offer and be glad that we stopped recruiting.

Good grief K-State fans.

What planet is this? Is this reality?

he's not even considering us anymore, pw.  it's over. he burned us all.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I agree.  Bryce Brown could very well be the next Maurice Clarett.

That's the best case scenario.

His peeps called Nebraska back in December. Since Burkhead was already coming to Nebraska, he was told "No Thanks".
Looks like he's running out of options...  :jerkoff:

Look, we don't want this kid.  If he comes here he thinks it's a step down.  He thinks he can take it easy and still be the star.  And why not?  He's the top recruit in the nation!  KSU has never had anyone like that!

Except we play in the Big XII.  We compete against OU and Texas and Nebraska.  He needs to go be hot crap in the ACC or the PAC-10 where the competition is a step down.

Oregon is probably his best choice.  He'll get to play on a decent team against inferior competition than he would see here.  He will never see the field if he goes to USC.

Off the top of my head: If given a choice of recruits, I would take Rock Cartwright, Josh Scobey, Darren Sproles, and Joe Hall above Bryce Brown.
