after being the hero of the first couple of games, special teams have plummeted.

this week we had four penalties on punt returns that left us starting at the 16, 5, 4 and 4 yard line.  &@#%ing horrid.

almost as bad are the two punts without penalty that left us at the 16 and 21.  or the roughing the kicker that baylor actually declined.

toss in a blocked fg and a blocked punt.....

In every punting situation, we've had a punter on the field.  I don't see how that isn't huge progress.

special teams consistently buried the team.

sure, it was good against FAU and ISU, but it's sucked balls since.

if sucking balls is your thing, you're still seeing progress.

i guess i am stuck remembering how many times special teams gaffs directly led to scores by the other team the past 2 seasons.   especially when spec. teams wasn't scoring themselves.

We scored 4 TD's directly off of ST last season...and we've given up 10 points this season as a direct result of special teams errors.   We'll see how things are going after the Big XII has scouted Tibesar fully...Baylor wasn't a good start.

The shine off of Tibesar sure as hell isn't covering up the stink from Franklin anymore.

rusty went yard.

special teams went from scoring points in the first two games to giving up points in the last three.  and they're racking up penalties at an alarming rate, and pinning what is already a piss poor offense in the deepest of holes.

Excellent Take Mr. White.

Note to Tibesar ... this is big boy football now, you can't do the same thing week after week.

I consider last week's special teams score to be 14-14.

LOL....I was giving them 7 for the 63 yard punt return that set up a 27 yard drive.

for some reason i thought the punt return set up a fg.

so special teams was a wash this past week.
