Not gonna jump through hoops to assemble a list of 80% of this board.  :jerkoff:

I'll bump some of the threads when the season is underway.

It's ok.  I've seen tons of people make retarded statements and not be able to back them up.  You're not the first.   :users:

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

bumped one just for you steve.
  And you proved my point in doing so

Now I know why I'm not getting thru to you.

I thought you were trying to say that our posters were behind the Snyder hire?   :dunno:  Because if that wasn't what you were saying then, no, you are definitely not getting through to me.

Many are, yes. As I said before, read up on the thought of Snyder being hired before it became a possibility and then right before it became truth. I even pointed out with my post another kstater posting calling the board gpc.

Bumped another.

Baffling.  There hasn't been a single post by a regular in any of your bumped posts that has backed you up.  You have still not been able to name a regular poster on this forum that was for the Snyder hire (before or during).  You lose.  I mean, if you want to make fun of random posters here that aren't often around and nobody knows of then.... congrats I guess.

If this board hadn't become overwhelmed by gpc rejects and other dumbasses than I wouldn't have to ron-stomp this place.

Sorry if this has already been used, I am too mad about OB being our coach to read through the responses.

What I hate most about Bill Snyder being our coach is that Bill Snyder is our coach.   :curse:

Another bump to enjoy the phogtards trying to revise history and say ku didn't "emphasize" football back in the 1990s . . . trying to paint a picture like they were somehow fielding a club team out there or something.

LOL.  Bob Frederick had an interview a few years ago where he p***ed and moaned about how the Big 12 screwed everything up, because those mean old Texas schools tried to win at everything.  How in the Big 8 every school had a "niche sport" they were good at and didn't rock the boat with the rest of the schools.

I wonder which sport he was talking about for ku.

How can you say that ku emphasized football when there were virtually no facilities and our coach at the time, Glen Mason, left because of the lack of support for the football program?  ku didn't completely ignore football, but it wasn't a main priority like it is now.  There's honestly no way you can argue against that, unless you're more delusional than previously thought.

When does ku plan on emphasizing it enough to win a few Norths?

3.The fact that no matter how much you want to love that he is back, you know that you really dread it. You adore the guy for what he brought to this program, but you hate the fact that the only reason he is here is that we cant get a younger coach who is full of piss and vinegar. Anyone who thinks the hiring of Bill Snyder isnt anything more than a band-aid for this glaring problem is a GD idiot who is out of touch with reality.

The hiring of Snyder was a financial move - the donor cash flow was guaranteed to come back with OB back in the saddle...

Bentard . . . you were 6 when half the stuff I am talking about took place.  You don't have a clue.

But hey, if you want to actually believe that football (freaking football) was a "niche" sport than go ahead. . . .that's phogtard group think at its best.

I've been going to ku games from the day I was born, 'Pad.  I remember sitting there in the stands in '95, a year in which ku finished 10-2, and the stands were completely bare.  The support for the football program was non-existant.  Snyder and K-State emphasized football a lot more than ku did... it's simply a fact.  Once ku and Mizzou started trying, Old Balls saw the writing on the wall and retired.  You can deny it all you want.

Fans in the stands had nothing to do with anything I am talking about Bentard.  For the first 7 or so years of the Snyder regime, ku was spending just as much or more on football annually than K-State was, and there's never been a very large gap between the football budgets at the two schools.

Again, go back and fellate phogtard.net and continue to revise history.

Plus, LOL at MU "emphasizing football" . . . you're such a dumbass.  MU opened the Devine Pavillion for Football in the Mid 1990's, they spent millions remodeling their stadium, building new gameday dressing rooms and putting in suites at Faurot Field in the mid to late 1990s, and K-State still kicked their ass.   ku spent $35 million remodeling its football stadium in 1998.

Again, go continue to revise history and just flat out make up $hit back on phogtard.net.

LOL at Dax.

It's been well-documented Dennis Franchione was the ku football coach in 1996 for thirty minutes until Roy informed his butt buddy Bob Frederick, ku basketball letterman, that he would be able to "work better" with his old friend Terry Allen.

Puppet Bob made the necessary phone call and Dennis was back looking for another job.

Sure Dax, whatever you say.

ku renovated its football stadium in '98 because the place was a complete sh*thole.  Don't try to pretend like ku and Mizzou were emphasizing football back in the mid 90's like they are today.  'Pad... just admit you have an inability to accept reality when it comes to ku.  One day you're talking about how crappy the support for the football program was when Glen Mason was coach, the next minute you're trying to tell us that ku was really placing an emphasis on football.  One minute you're talking about how it took until '07 for ku to get a football-only facility, the next you're talking about how ku has been pouring money into the football program for years.
